@ don’t get me wrong I like the new monster jam too but when you compare the 2 which is old school and new school monster jam it’s 2 different stories and as a 25 year old man in my generation I grew up watching the the old days of monster jam and that will always be my childhood memories growing up so, just being honest and like I’ve said in the beginning I still like the new school monster jam
This is when the sport really started to make a name for itself. Really was worth watching the events on tv. The commercials during each break were just as good since most of them were car related commercials
Personally the 2008 season has to be my favorite. Almost every round had a unique type of track that either hadn’t been done in a couple years on tv or never done before (i.e Houston-Show 1 racing)
Dennis Anderson wasn't seen throughout the entire season since he hasn't been to the west coast events for a while. Charlie Pauken, Randy Brown, and Pablo Huffaker all had the TV time for Monster Jam 2008. The video game Urban Assault released during the 2008 season, and in the end John Seasock in Batman won his 2nd racing championship in a row and Adam Anderson in Taz wins the freestyle title.
the first 16:9 Aspect ration video they did was Globen 2005 and the footage was used for American Speed Sweden and crappier footage was used for monster jams SPEED episode.
Just saying I was more excited to see what the track looked like bad in the days cause they where all unique. But now you’re getting a rough idea of what it’s going to look like now a days without even seeing it.
I miss the old days of Monster Jam I’m old school
I agree 👍🏼😮
Newer monster jam is great too if you lighten up a bit.

@jonmills9465 Can't argue with that. The moves they do nowadays are crazy, but I can't help but miss the double buses and huge dirt mounds
I agree.
The greatest season of Monster Jam ever, this will never be matched.

George's St Louis save in racing is one of my favorites of all time.

2:48 Courtney jolly’s injury that ended her monster truck career
Here's a fun game: take a shot for every shot that's in the Urban Assault Showroom Movies
All of them or almost all of them?
@S0meR6nd0m Actually not as many as I thought. They didn't use any Detroit or Houston show 2 footage
I WENT TO SAN ANTONIO IN 2008
It looks like 2008 is when they changed the aspect ratio.
The first show to have a different aspect ratio was the last 2007 show but 2008 was the first to fully utilize it
@ Yeah, I just saw your 2007 video, and you are right.
