Shipshewana is a great place! I grew up there and my mom used to work at Yoders. It’s been many years since we lived there, it’s changed a lot since I was a kid! Great video!
I love going to shops like that! My momma has some great ones by her. But I really want that microwave potato bag lol 😂 I’ve never seen one like that before 💕💕
I like all the neat things , like the knee socks , I haven’t seen those forever. If I went shopping there , I would have to stay for a week just shopping. The AMISH such talented people .
I came over and watched your video ... ahh...just love that area! I enjoyed your what's for dinner video too! We homeschooled our sons, as well but they are now graduated & have families of their own. Blessings =)
I suggest going during the summer so you can go to the flea market and also I suggest staying at the esen haus hotel it’s supper nice and very close to everything also go to the blue gate breakfast buffet
I love to go to all the quilt stores up there. I love the grocery store also. What is the store in front of the flea market that has all the cheese and sausages? We had a place on tippy for about 12 years. I miss the area. The kids quit coming up and it was just too much for us to care for.
I forget the name of that store but it's one of our favorites too! Love sampling all that yummy cheese! I'm sure you have treasured memories from your time there!
We're considering getting an air bnb in shipshewana to visit amish country. But possibly wanted to stay at the blue gate garden inn! We have a toddler so trying to find the best option for our room situation
We have never gotten an Airbnb there but have stayed at the Blue Gate many many times. We’ve also stayed at the Farmstead Inn. It is also very nice. I think the Blue Gate is our favorite. It is a huge place with fun accommodations (ice cream parlor etc) and a nice outdoor fire pit relaxation area that we like. Hope you have a blast!

I live super close so it’s weird to know that some people don’t know about Amish culture
