I honestly think stuff like Rucksacks and Plate Vests need to be removed from the contract loot pool or we at least should be able to sell them for like 4000 for the Large Rucksack and 3 Plate Vest.
They're generally not needed at all.

Yes, the selling back is a good idea. I had a similar thought.
I don't mind getting three plate vest or large rucksack as a reward in tier 3. It saves you money if you are trying to get it back having lost it recently.
I don't like the idea of two plate vest and medium rucksack as a reward in T3. Not valuable enough and not helpful.
I could understand coming to T3 with a small or medium rucksack, but coming with only one plate vest is suicidal unless you have a scorcher and don't plan on staying too long.
@@Andrewcwazeewabbit I also generally think all those items you can find around the map like: Harddrive's, Classified documents, etc just need a blanket value increase of 10x and shit like the GPU needs to be worth 100k.
When you find a GPU you should react like "Holy shit a GPU!" not: "Oh, a GPU.... yay.."

I don't understand why certain items are even there. Nobody is going to bother selling a screwdriver for 20 points when you can get twenty points by shooting a zombie.

No, you didn’t because it’s designed for them not to be there. I’ve been playing on t3 since maybe January and not a single one in thousands of contracts.
@@CaptCrackSparrow S2 was quite messed up, so it's possible.
The reward essence during S2 was all over the place for half a season. I got 5k a few times in T1, and one time I left T3 because I was getting only 2k per contract, like 4 times during one run. In T3! It was very inconsistent.
So it's quite possible that people got green tool in the reward rift in S2.
Supposedly Treyarch was still overseeing mwz before handing the reins to Sledgehammer during this messy period.
Certain things got fixed after Sledgehammer took over.
Another reason not to put Treyarch on a pedestal and genuflect. (Assuming it's true that Treyarch was still in charge as we were led to believe. I'm inclined to believe it was a transitional period and no one knew who was in charge)

Now you gotta do 100 normal dark aether contracts, and follow it up with 100 elder dark aether contracts
I was really excited to see this list come out, mainly to prove the point that green tools aren’t given out in T3 and people love to claim that they are. However, I get legendary tools and pack3 crystals at a higher rate than this. Got 2 flawless in one reward yesterday. This is really good work and seems very accurate for the most part to my gameplay as well.

By my calculations tier 3 nets 2840 essence per minute.
Tier 2 nets 2173 essence per minute.
Mind you none of this counts purely trying to do fast contracts. Nor does this include downtime between contracts. Purely a quick calculation of active contract time per the given calculations from the spreadsheets.
Mind you that’s with zero 4+ minute tier 3 contracts, and fifteen 4+ minute tier 2 contracts(mostly mercenaries and escorts)

Sure seems like my most common reward in tier 3 is a rare Aether tool. That, and the medium rucksack, are extremely common for me.
Imagine the game had like a "re-roll" option, but you need some sort of "token" to do it
One thing I noticed about the dark aether is that in season 1 dark aether you get only season 1 classified loot, and in season 2 dark aether, you get both season 1 and 2 loot . And season 3, you get loot from seasons 1,2, and 3,

Thanks for another great video and for the stats, mate. However I have one gripe 😅 when I play, I average 20 to 30 contracts in T3 every game I play. So the 100 contracts seems extremely low for me in terms of building any true statistics. Was thinking more towards 500 or better 1000 contracts. Sorry, just my view on the topic, no hate

I feel like I’ve been getting more pack 2 crystals. In the last 2 games I’ve gotten 3 pack 2 crystals from both tier 2 and tier 3 contracts. I even got it once in a T1 contract on my way to the exfil and that made my day lol

I alternate between Red and Orange zone so I probably conflate the memories of what I got as a reward.
I wonder how it would change if you didn't have any DA unlocked so couldn't get sigils
I mainly just grind T2 these days. I prefer playing solo, and even with a scorcher 90% of the lobby is in T3 and it's a pain. I'll just go grind T2 and bang off 20 contracts no problem, just contract to contract no waiting. Only time I grind T3 is if I need more sigils.
I don't know how much tier 3 contracts I've completed, but it has to be hundreds at this point.
And I am still not convinced that the refined crystal schematic is real.

Dang that’s horrible. I feel like I probably did around 250 before I found it. Funny how that works because I got it 3 times today, twice back to back.
I have the schematic but it took me the longest to get that one.
Even now, I rarely get it in the rift. Probably once in five weeks I get the schematic, and I play about 5 times a weeks, minimum of two hours each time.
I got every Tier 3 schematic in one game in a squad of 6 four days ago I couldn’t believe it the other players all needed a most of them so I don’t if that plays a factor or not

did you take into account that the first contract you do when you're solo each game is guarenteed to give you a self revive ?

Been doing a lot of tier 2 contracts while camo grinding and have gotten a few legendary tools and refined crystals.
Today I completed a tier 4 escort contract from the season 1 rift and got 2 legendary aether tools from the same rift. Could be the luckiest one yet
it looks like rewards are better when you have an operator without gear (vest, rucksack, pap), would be cool to see that tested. Also raw data link is broken
I’ve done thousands of contracts in t3. Total I’ve gotten 5 scorcher cases. I got One the last game I just played.

T2 is better in some games just because of the numbers in T3 and the struggle to get a contract, also based on your data I believe you are more likely to get pap 3 crystals killing the free romaning Mega Abominations then by doing contracts

They have to give you so many selfies because the lag is so bad lately that you can barely run let alone train zombies without constantly going down from a zombie that instantly lags across the map to hit you which coincidentally the zombies themselves never lag only the players. Also I have gotten several green and blue tools in t3 in fact out of the 30 contracts I’ve done in the last few days 40 percent were those tools the rest being selfies perks and sigals so may not be as common for some but t3 rewards have definitely been trash and only worth going into for the essence which honestly with as many people in their i could just get it in t2 all the same.
I got a green tool in tier 3. Idk if it’s based on how much you help or not, but I was in a 3 man squad and I got it from Spore Control and I did not help with the contract at all, I was just killing zombies

I've probably done 60-70 tier 3 contracts, and i have gotten green tools as rewards on occasion. Also, which looking at your chart makes this hard to believe, i have NEVER gotten a sigil as a reward...never.
Probably because you've never opened the dark aether through the quests ya?

Blue tools, blue back packs, 2 plate carriers are by far the most common loot. Those all should be eliminated from t3 reward loot tables
Did you count the guaranteed self res that you get everytime you complete your first contract of the game?
Yes! So that does skew the self revives and overall number, but it was less than 10 games, so it wasn't too much

@@DoughnutsI think if it took you fewer than 10 games to do hundred contracts (and there's nothing wrong with that completion rate) the rewards are different than if you spent 20 different games, or even 30 games.
(yes, it's very tedious and time consuming, no doubt).

Looking at this chart shows me how lucky I am cause almost every other day I play I get a legendary aether tool but I still almost never get refined aetherium crystals also how do you guys get so many sigils I’ve never gotten a single sigil
You're lucky to get a leg tool almost daily without doing the triangles.
The sigils are given, I think, if you've opened the dark aether. I think any one of the dark aether gates when unlocked enables sigils as rewards
I was in tier 3 and got a legendary aether tool from a contract and the very next one gave me a pack 3 crystal

The schematics are BS...geezus man 9? That's ridiculous. I've been trying for the crystal schematics forever and never have gotten one yet.
Aside from looking for a scorcher and a PAP 3 crystal (which I only get like once every 4 or 5 games), the only reason I go to tier 3 is to rack up points to cut into my schematic cool down times…… OR to squad up for a dark ether run, aside from that your better off in T2 grinding contracts.
The fact the game even gives you a two plate vest in T3, but it takes a week for your PAP 3 crystal to cool down is highway robbery 😂😂😂. And I don’t want to hear sh@@t about “skill” Doughnuts, it’s about the principle good Sir! I’m sure you have noticed this season’s T3 zombies are on crack, you can barely hit a reward rift without a hoard of zombies trying to jack you for your Jordan’s… If I’m running for my life in T3 all game give me better rewards!! 😂😂💯💯
It's the same with turret circuits, you find them every other box in t2 but go to t3 where you actually need them and there's like 1 or 2 in the whole area. Then you load into a game where there is no turrets in t3 and there's circuits in every box. 😂😂

Accept help from us and lets do 100 contracts per dark aether. Come on donuts lets do this. 300 contracts pfft. as a community that is nothing. and it would give me a good reason to play again.
I’ve got in the last month or so green tools and medium rucksacks I believe my rewards for killing one HVT was two green tools 😂 lucky me.

@@Doughnuts you know I don’t and I have tried to replicate in the last few days but worst I got was blue tools and medium rucksacks and 2 plate vests in tier 3. So likely you’re right and I was confusing t2 and t3 rewards cos I drop in and out depending on how crazy t3 is. I did on the brighter side receive TWO legendary tools in contract rewards in one game in t3. Now that was sweet.

I'm not sure, once you have all the schematics, there's nothing left to do... I have no desire to die in the unstable rift.... the rewards just aren't there..... without new content, this zombie game is pretty dead... everyone is running out of creative ideas on what to do, because all that's left, is to grind the same thing over and over for rewards you no longer need....
I haven't played for the rewards for awhile . I just wanna play and kill zombies .

I don't get anything from any contracts anymore because S4 reloaded update broke the game for myself as well as hundreds of thousands of others that spent good money on this game and after a week it's still not fixed. For those who won't math, hundreds of thousands of people equates to tens of millions of dollars that they have of ours and they don't care about us enough to fix this problem. Anyone else still rubberbanding into oblivion after a full week of this nonsense? Sorry to bring this up in here Doughnuts but, to be fair, I'm going to keep bringing this up on every zombies post I see until it gets addressed by Activision.
Edit: I should clarify that this is not a personal attack on Doughnuts or his content. I very much enjoy his videos. When I say "every zombies post" it refers to anything I see about MWIII that is not addressing this unplayable lag that affects people playing any game mode on multiple platforms.
