You actually did it the old way. Now you don't have to add Motion Tracking from the fx tab. Highlight your clip, go to Tools - Video - Motion tracking and then continue as normal. I have found that using anything other than Perspective is glitchy.

When I use the picture in picture and set a begin and end location and then connect it to the motion tracking my text still chooses itself where it starts. Any idea how to fix this and make the text start above the object I wanna track
Hey, Nick. I've been having an issue where I can't see the resize tools, nor where I'm moving the image to. I can only see where i moved it until after I close the picture-in-picture window. Is there any way to fix this?

Of course, when I do the same thing, it doesn't do anything like what happens in the video. I drag picture-in-picture onto my image and it just prints an empty box with no ability to manipulate the image at all.

Yea, watch other videos on it because this one is confusing. I just jumped from 16 to 19 for the motion tracking, and this came up as a suggestion after watching other videos on it. This method is totally confusing and works worse than the other videos I watched.

I was searching for hours how to do this and was losing my mind because people keep using extension and I couldn't find anything or where to get them. My suffering can end I am finally free......
So apparently, motion cannot be tracked "into" the frame with an "event" clip that is actually a panning video. Also, there must be an apparent size limitation to the imported .png file too - seeins how I imported a 3-character still image from Poser 12 software (at 1920 x 1080) - and the heads, feet, and shoulders were all cut off & not showing up till dead center was reached - yet at half the size of a whole frame anyway. Tutorials are usually good until the student runs into trouble. Then as usual, there is no way to figure out what is going wrong. (FYI : I am also using VGS 19 on a Windows 11 machine).

That is not AI. Motion tracking and flying masks have been used for many decades, even in the 80s on home computers such as the Amiga. You young guys are confused and misusing terms.
