My Grandpa was George Smith and his wife Shirley worked at the Evansville Coliseum every week, I went there every week as a kid. I met so many wrestlers before they got famous. Lawler, Savage, Jarrett, Dundee, Moondogs🇺🇸was someting truly amazing
Memphis fan since 1982. No one went outside until 12:30 on Saturday afternoons when TV 5 wrestling was over. Many Monday nights at the Mid South Coliseum. What a time to be alive.
Damn near grew up in the Colisium in Evansville . Years later I worked security in that Wrestling Shrine for a local promotion and meet quite a few of the greatest wrestlers of all time because of that building . My life would mot have been complete without wrestling in it . Thank You all for everything you did for me , and everyone else that feels this way about what you ALL did for all of us
I was there it was one of the best times I've had. For a few hours I forgot about my problems, my loss and just reminisced of my childhood and Wednesday nights at the coliseum. Made me think of Saturday and Sundays as a kid of course my cartoons but Memphis wrestling would come on I'd hear that music and see that statue rotating and I'd get hyped then I'd hear it Yello, everybody and for the next hour I was stuck. The rest of the weekend was tapes of awa, WWF, Crocket, and wccw. Thank you Jeff for putting this show together. And thank you Jerry the King Lawler for helping to provide some of the happiest times in my life along with the Superstar Bill Dundee and the rest of the boys from Memphis rasslin

I can say, being there after most fans and wrestlers left after the show was one of my favorite memories.

God bless all of these wonderful guys, and the wonderful guys who are no longer here. Memphis wrestling was the best.
