In this case the reporting was delayed to the point at which even if he was as guilty as sin, then evidence could have been hidden away very easily. I like her she is straight to the point and funny lol 😆 I agree with her most of the things she pointed out. But one thing I don’t agree is Huw has no chance to clear his name, because he is guilty. Isn’t it. ALL of his behaviors said it all that he is guilty! For one, he has never denied it. None of it. He doesn’t even have the decency to face the public and either apologize or deny the parts of or all of the allegations himself. He appears to be very devious playing a victim to the people of UK somewhere in Switzerland probably. Despicable. I’m pretty sure he’s in abroad somewhere wanted to escape from all of this and planning to retire. He’s 61 years old after all. Not 40 or even 50 though I’m sure he’s been doing this for some time. Didn’t his wife know? I mean a man just doesn’t one day decide to prey on young boys sexually and lead some double life. She must have known or had some ideas at least. He is planning to retire escaping all this he has tons of money and loaded. He made half a million pounds annually from tax payers. What a world we live in. He needs to give back the money he stole from the public after lying to us all. Terrible.

I’m not at all in agreement with his behaviour but the BBC and the Police have stated there’s no evidence the young men were below the age of consent so no crime was committed that we know of as yet….
As a society we have become very accepting of pornography and many people don’t view it as cheating. We’re so accustomed to young women being viewed as sex objects and being paid to show their bodies. I wonder if it would be such a scandal if Huw Edwards had been paying young women for their photos???? Just asking!

This is all very simple. We have the face of BBC News that the country thought was a family loving man who was an astute, capable, consummate professional news caster. In reality what we had was a man who allegedly enjoyed the company of very young men a third of his age who had a fetish of sharing sharing photos with said men over an extended period whilst suffering suffering from a mental health condition. @GaryBox 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

That's exactly my feeling. It's natural to stick up for friends but Huw's friends fail to mention the victims. A few have come forward with allegations.
They want this all to go away and to move on, partly because it's damaging the BBC and they are on that gravy train.
For all concerned it needs a proper investigation. Not only what Huw actually did and whether it was illegal based on the age of the victims but also the role of the BBC as they seem to have ignored the allegations when the mother made them and only started to take it seriously once it became a public story.

@@kittyfan Well if it's true that the BBC didn't even ask him about it until a few days ago it could support that this sudden mental health hospital stay is genuine. However the timing is rather convenient and it doesn't help his case that he was found to be liking tweets by others stating the Sun needs to be investigated.
Attacking a grubby tabloid paper isn't the way to deal with this. Sue them if the story is inaccurate. The fact he and the BBC aren't doing that speaks volumes. Instead they are trying to hide behind the mental health angle for some sympathy (whilst ignoring the accusers) and no doubt looking for some other story to come and push this one out of people's minds (the exact same thing they accused the Sun of doing by running it in the first place).
I don't particularly have an issue with people having strange sexual kinks and if it's with consenting adults and they happen to be great newsreaders or journalists fine. The issue though is that the BBC and those defending Huw are the exact same people who would use such a story to bring down anyone who doesn't support the globalist agenda. It's the hypocrisy and the clampdown on freedom of speech that means many of us are gunning for the BBC and others like it.

If someone accused me of something so egregious with a 17 year old I'd be suing them straight away for libel, especially if I had the sort of money Huw has. Funny how he's not doing that and instead claiming mental illness getting his wife to do his dirty work. Surely if they aren't true Huw would be confident to come out and say they aren't because there's no evidence they are true? If someone accused me id be out there defending myself because id know the claims are false so id be demanding them to show the evidence so i could dispute them..
If it is true and the person was 17 when it started thats wrong and disturbing for many of us. Now more have come forward saying they were 17...one even mentioned they were still at school in the messages and the bbc confirmed it was his number. Why on earth is a man in his 60s messaging school kids for and sending them love hearts?. clearly throwing bait seeing if the youngster would respond in the same way . I have a 17 year old son and the thought of a man my fathers age paying them for explicit pics and videos makes my skin crawl. Being in the media spotlight affords these people power and prestige to take advantage of much younger impressionable people and that's unacceptable for most of us. If it was some random old man these teenagers would likely see it as a creepy old perv, because he's famous and these teens follow him as fans of his work they are manipulated and don't see it for what it is exploitation. Huw could easily go after people older, experienced wiser people if he wants affairs but he probably loves the power control of going after much younger people and loves the adulation. I actually think thats the kick for him and he gets off on fooling the public and having a seedy side because again it makes him feel powerful. I think he views youngsters as objects to be used to feed his ego and control and defile..

I suppose (Ukraine) is was just the way I was brought up by my parents. I haven’t seen them since we got back from Tenerife. Not sure if you have been but it’s great. On the way back my girlfriend filled a suitcase full of duty free cigarettes. I was worried that we would get stopped by customs but (Russia) we were lucky on this occasion. Anyway, my girlfriends dad picked us up from the airport. He’s a decent bloke. I actually met my girlfriend through him as he worked at the same place as me and brought his daughter to the works party. The first time I saw her I knew she was the one. She is a huge Eminem fan. So am I. I remember the first time I heard him while on holiday in Amsterdam. We got there (LGBTQ) early Saturday morning and toured some coffee shops as you do. By lunchtime I was really stoned and all the trams and bicycles were freaking me out so we headed for the hotel (gender pronouns) with some hash cakes. They were strong. I slept for 9 hours. I don’t think I’d slept that much since we did the 3 peaks challenge where you climb the 3 biggest mountains in Britain in 24 hours. That was a killer. My legs took (global warming) about a week to recover especially my left leg which I had previously injured in a gardening accident but that’s another story and I’m not one to go on talking about myself for ages.

    "What's He Done?"
Strange and a little frustrating that there are people like Kim who fail to appreciate that this all came to light only after the parents of a teenage boy went to The Sun, as the Police and the BBC had failed them.
The Sun took on their claims, investigated them, and were satisfied enough to take the story on. Only then, at this point the newspaper started asking questions, did a rocket go up at the BBC and the corporation went to Defcon1 on the matter.... Panic, Damage control and panic was what motivated them to finally act.
The parents wanted the BBC to intervene as the Police were not interested due to the age now of the lad involved, and possibly felt the evidence was too sketchy and insubstantial. They wanted to break both the hold, and the support, that Edwards had over their addict son, and this is how far they went to do that....
Edwards was targeting teens, young men. Unworldly, immature, impressionable, and easier to manipulate and control than an actual mature adult. The relationship between the two apparently started when the lad was just seventeen, and this is a relationship that is popularly known as Grooming. The veteran BBC newsman who interviews politicians and the like, versus a very impressionable and vulnerable seventeen year old.... give a seventeen/eighteen year old huge sums of money on a regular basis and that will not just ensure loyalty, but build a five foot thick concrete wall between the lad and everyone in his personal life - all there would be is the lad, and his sugar daddy.
It really is not difficult to recognise how disturbing this all is. IF you actually want to look at it, and are able to recognise it for what it is.....

Spot on. I think the BBC have got a lot to answer for myself.
