I think Kraven was maybe my favorite villain in the game, above Venom even. He doesn’t really need a deep characterization. His motive is clear and he lives by the motive. I don’t think he went after the Spider-Men because he knows they don’t kill. He was only interesting in symbiote Peter, because he became stronger and more unhinged. And props to Kraven for taking down Electro by the way. Damn. But yeah, hunting Black Cat, for example. She would have no chance at beating him.

I recently checked the credits of this game on IMDb and apparently none of the writers from Spider-Man 1 returned, so that would explain why this game's story was unsatisying unlike the first one. Also, one of the writers for Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 worked on Call of Duty Vanguard as well as that god awful Jedi Survivor tie-in novel.

It only happens if they notice someone not at their post or they send someone to investigate because it's 'quiet', they stand where on of the dudes used to be then they look around and then look up. I think so anyway, I'm really slow with stealth so it happened to me alot more than I'd say would have for others.
For the gameplay section, the gadget hweel and suit powers were very overpowered, i completely understand them removing those, not to mention the gadget wheels took you out of gamepaly so hard unless you were good/already knew where each gadget was.
It also doesn’t help that Spider-Man is op. There is no consequence to getting caught in stealth, unlike Batman. Stealth is necessary to the Arkham games so he doesn’t get gunned down.

They explained the suit situation by saying the web wings (and possibly Peters Spider Arms/Symbiote Tendrils) would look off and they couldn't just copy paste them but had to rework them a bit so everything looks better. They both felt like all movie suits needed to be there and Peter shouldn't have more suits than Miles. So it's a super unlucky combination of these... And that the rest was filled with the "Favorites" of the people working on the suits. So maybe blame the mass appeal of the MCU and "bad taste" for the remaining costumes being so weird picks. Also, I did use the stealth suit. When stealthing in the Remaster, that is. But in SPM2, I basicly stuck with the "Canon" suits because I saved all my tokens for upgrades. (Except for Miles "Evolved" Suit, instantly changed out of thatvas well, but they forced it in the final Mission, so... :/) Oh and the best thing is after Peter has the Anti Venom Suit JJJ complains the Spider-Men only care for fashion and then comes miles showing of his new style... Jona isn't always right, and when he's wrong he can go so far of the rails, but sometimes he really is spot on.

I feel like the venom story was not executed as well as it could have. I didn’t enjoy seeing how Venom didn’t have much of a lasting impact on Peter’s current relationships. I understand Venom had control over Peter, so it wasn’t fully Peter saying or doing selfish things. But I think it would have been perfect for the game to end with Peter and Miles on bad terms and splitting up. I understand the game’s tagline was “Be Greater Together.” But, it still would have been very interesting to see how they struggle being Spider-Men while holding grudges against each other. I think it could go something like this… After they split up due to Peter’s mistreatment of Miles while under Venom’s influence, Peter wrestles with the guilt of driving Miles away. After all Miles did to save him from Venom’s control, the weight becomes too much to bear being Spider-Man, especially with his priority in life being with MJ. Peter quietly lets go of being Spider-Man, while Miles takes on the mantle. It’s the same end, but with more emotional weight as well as showing the human aspects of these characters. Plus, the door is still left open for Peter to return in a future installment, if he sees Miles is facing threats that are too great for him to face alone. And if Peter comes back to save Miles, we can see Peter brushing off the rust or even struggling with being out of his prime, but rising above like he always does, in a way redeeming himself for his past mistakes. Through that redemption, Miles can see how he was wrong to hold a grudge against Peter, how it mirrored him holding a grudge against Martin Li, and how his father raised him better than to shut Peter out like that. The two would own up to their mistakes and coming back together in a very human way. That would make for a compelling character dynamic between the two if they went that route. Or maybe it’s too cliche, but I would’ve liked to see that play out. The two of them going on with their lives like nothing happened removes the human element of their characters that was shown in great detail with the end of Spider-Man 1. A huge highlight for me in the story was the Martin Li vs. Miles Morales boss fight. Going through Miles’ psyche as he grapples with his inner turmoil was so interesting and I feel like it could only be done in a Martin Li fight.
Well all I can say is they did Peter and Harry's relationship better than TASM2. I love Andrew Garfield but in game they showed us they were friends not just in flashbacks but it was at least acknowledged in the first game. The movies were like.... "these too are friends"..... Also in game they had chemistry in the movie it was akward.
Peter infiltrating the base in a tuxedo was probably a Tom Holland reference, as he also plays Nathan drake in the uncharted movies. That’s just my guess though

Peter has been staying hidden for almost a DECADE and detectives STILL cant figure out who he is, Peter never once slips up in a way that Kraven can figure out, the only time he DOES is when they attempt to AMBUSH Peter in his house cause Peter didn't check if he was being tailed and by that time WHY BOTHER finding out his identity when you're gonna ambush him??? Then when Peter escapes they capture MILES which effectively makes the need to find his identity USELESS as they already have a method of luring in Peter without the need to strain themselves to find the identity of a GENIUS
Like the only reason Kraven was able to study Spider Mans foes is cause ALL OF THEIR INFORMATION is already spread out, he knows their identities there is OBVIOUSLY footage of them using their powers/suits so unlike Peter where his information is WELL HIDDEN the villains have all their shit on the internet
