We are LIVING for the comedy haha
Seventeen's signature synchronized style is because of Adore U. They revamped that choreography multiple times because for months and months they were told they were gonna debut next month so they worked hard to make sure that when it did happen they'd be perfect. Even today people often comment on new dance practices/choreo videos that they dance like the rent is due, which is because when they first debuted, the rent was due. Pledis was very unprofitable when Seventeen was debutting and they're music helped save the company.
Seventeen debut MV is the definition of $5 and a dream 😭😭
"Adore u" was Svt's debut song, this mv and Seventeen at that time was the definition of "5$ and a big dream", So proud of them. Despite facing so many difficulties, they grew up as an artist and human being really well.
And look at them now 🥺!
even from these 2 early releases you could tell why they are called the theatre kids of kpop. their choreos have so much story-telling and look theatrical. and they have been so so in sync from the get go.

Oh, the nostalgia lol. Mansae still holds up imo (despite some questionable hairstyles lol). Also, in their older dance practices they used to place the album of whatever song they were dancing to in their foreground! So, you'll likely see more of that going forward before they stopped doing that.

I think the reason I love Seventeen so much is their commitment to being silly little theater kids even 8+ years into their career. Of course they've done harder concepts and have very serious, beautiful tracks, but they don't shy away from just being happy and silly, no matter their age. And i so appreciate that they gladly and willingly still perform the debut era songs with the original choreo and with the same amount of commitment to the bit lol. (Though i did notice Mingyu grimace a little when Woozi jumped on his back during the Seoul concerts this summer - sorry Mingyu, he's made of muscle now!! 😂)
We absolutely love their theater kid hearts haha! We can't wait to see more of it from them. They definitely give off the most hyper energy haha ❤ (Poor Mingyu haha)

fun fact: since Seventeen had a low budget for production, their debut MV was actually edited/produced by the members with only 5 dollars, using wonwoo's ipad, vernons editing skills and Woozi's incredible writing, from this they got the title "Self-producing kings" 😍
they really surpassed themselves! from a school presentation mv to literally working with a FILM DIRECTOR for their "F*ck My Life MV" and hiring over 250 dancers for "Super MV"!! So proud of them 🥲💕

Most of the svt's mv are fun, bright, will put you in a good mood. They do have sentimental, soft, emotional songs too, specially b-sides. Can't wait for you guys to dive into their albums. Can't wait for more svt reaction.

Babies;I remember watching Adore U when it came out and i liked it but that was it. But then Mansae came out (their comeback after debut so it's another album) and i was in love. Mingyu and Jeonghan had a big impact for me and the dance,i was amazed. Mansae is still one of my faves from them and the first album i bought of them.
They used to do for some songs the normal version of dance practice and then another one where the camera is behind them so you see from that angle.
They have so much fun during those dances
They really seem like they're having to best time during their dance practices haha. The energy is seriously infectious 😂
these two songs are truly timeless. if they were to release these songs in todays day in age, i feel it’d still go big! also Adore U is from their first mini album (17 Carat) and Mansae is from their second mini album (Boys Be). i’m super excited for you guys to jump into their bsides tho! Love&Letter (first full album) and Going Seventeen (3rd mini album) are two of my all time favorites from Seventeen! ty for the reaction as always!
From what I've heard, S.Coups got his invitation to audition for seventeen when he literally leaped over a fence to escape soccer practice. He knows how to jump!

Y’all should watch the Part Switch version of Adore U! Not sure if they have it for the other song but they definitely do for Adore U. They have it for a few songs. They switch parts during the choreo and it’s funny too!
Edit: yes they have the Part Switch for Mansae as well. Lol

Also, for when you are done with MVs and dance practice, some have switch version a goffy dance practice where they are stealing each other parts, they did those for Adore U, Mansae, Pretty U, Oh My, Don't Wanna Cry, Left and Right (I think those are all), with those beware the Left & Right one is connected to their 5th Anniversary special video where they acted like each other, so they are mostly taking the part of the member they acted as in that video. Home has a Night version as it's funny one, and Boom Boom a Santa version
What they have in front for the Mansae dance practice is one of the versions of the album, the Hide version album for the Hide versiondance practice

Something about svt, although they do goofy, fun, funny concept, they will serve us the best choreography each time. Their energy, power and performance always mesmerizing no matter what concept they do. Svt always have crazy formation for their choreography

Even after all this time Mansae is still in my top 10 favorites. Thank you for enjoying it as much as I do. And the enjoyment only increases with each time watching. I may be biased but Dino is the star of Mansae. At some point (on your own even) be sure to watch the seek version dance practice. You'll love it even more.

I'm pretty sure Seventeenlyrics's videos start with Love & Letter (Pretty U's album), so you should be good on title songs going forward. It's only the first two mini-albums they don't have.
My favorite thing about Seventeen, from the beginning, is just how much FUN they are. It's in the music, it's in the silly effects in the Adore U mv, it's in the choreo and the dance practices, it's certainly in their variety content. That's really why they've been my top group for 5 years, is just because they're always just so much dang fun to watch. It's not easy, to do that so consistently for 8 years.

yeah for seventeenlyrics they have all of seventeen's main discography aside from songs from their first two mini albums (17carat and boys be). so going forward you should be able to find everything on their channel!

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. The whispering geez. It's a catchy start. They all have good voices. Got attitude. Love Jeonghan's long hair. Woozi's hair color is cute too. Hoshi cute here. So they used a boxing concept here ha now i kind of get the recent albums echo this. They debuted with a cute theme. There was some humor too. So u can kinda feel the possibilities. Watching the Suchwita episodes with SVT members I really learned so much. Those episodes helped me be more open minded about this group. The choreo was so fun. But also 1am practice ouch. The small room reminds me of BTS start also small studio space. This was nice. They really amazing dancers. Loved Jeonghan's part. In the MV I don't think i was focused on him. So Cheolsoo and Younghee were actually characters in Korean Textbooks who were like best friends and used to "teach" the kids through the books. They are somewhat like Jack & Jill. So the lyrics are "I feel like a Cheolsoo without a Younghee" meaning They feel alone or like they are missing the other half of them.

Watching the MV for the first time and listening to the song for the first time all at the same time is better than watching the MV and already knowing the song, is more impactful if you listen and watch the mv for the first time at once.
idk if anyone has said yet, but in the adore u mv when jeonghan is in the center he's actually lip-syncing to seungkwans voice. Not completely sure why but jeonghan doesn't sing on the original track, if you look at live stages from back then it's still seungkwans voice as well, now these years jeonghan actually does sing his own part! no one knows the real reason but if you look it up there will be people saying he was sick during recording or he was just insecure about his voice! Whatever the case was im glad he sings his part now!

idk if you guys have seen the aju nice mv but during the choreo scenes wonwoo is not there, he was diagnosed with acute gastritis during that time so he was unable to do a lot of things. During their special video( dance practice ) they have a stuffed fox in the center that's supposed to represent him since he was unable to be there and dance, the other members would carry it around while he was gone it even had cute little glasses too 🥹😁

You can see for Adore u their budget was really low..they started from zero and at first their company Pledis wasn't under hybe though svt success credit doesn't go to Hybe bt I think Pledis was on bankrupt
My favorite Stray Kids song is either Easy, Back Door or Domino. Although their new song Top Line is quickly taking over. I've been watching them since 2021.
