Wow. What most people don't know, this is the hardest Dokken song to sing. Those high notes are way way up and Don Dokken uses vocal compression for some of those notes which gets harder as you go higher. I have 0 complaints about the vocals, amazing Dave can sing this song, it's near impossible. Great job by everyone.
I was about to say the same. Don is not able to sing anymore like that. Also, playing a lead guitar partition from Lynch is not something commun. Great performance. Merci
When you heard the Drums and the opening Guitar Riffs at I 7 and 9 then the return Cords at G 5 and 7 being played you Automatically know what song this is... I love the opening guitar riffs from this track. It's so dark and eerie but it begs you to continue through the nightmare that's trying to get out. Dokken wrote this track perfectly and this band performed the song Flawlessly
This is why i wish real bands like those of the 70s 80s and early to mid 90s would come back...the shit they call music today is pathetic...the best time to be alive 79-97 nusic wise
the singer is amazing.. he reminds me soo much of DIO. but the over all performance of the band was fantastic ... its a very professional job you guys have done I love it
Spent 12 years in network news covering and interviewing musical acts across multiple genres. Dokken was one of many. You guys sound fantastic. Drums and bass lines locked, guitars and keys running on all cylinders. Vocals are superb. Love your live Toto cover too. Hope to catch you live sometime.
Brilliant. David's ending high note is epic. Enjoyed that final look of satisfaction. And what can you say about Vlad's precision and fire. What a guitar talent. Captured all the nuances of that famous solo. Excellent performance from whole band.
I have been a Dokken fan and big George Lynch fan sense the 80s and I got to say you guys kicked some ass the guitar player dead on loved it sounded better then the last time I seen Dokken live.
This is very good. Without the visual I might have thought I was listening to Dokken, who I saw open fro Judas Priest and once by themselves at a festival. The vocal were amazing.
I'm close to declaring that i prefer this over the original, mostly based on the singer. I would like to hear a more "vinyl", saturated mix of the other instruments, though. They're generally too crisp, other than the guitar solo.
This Dude Don't Have A Talent Voice Like The Real Singer. Don Dokken Has The Real Voice And The Band Has More Real Sounds. I Really Appreciate That Voice. Is Way Off And This Dude Needs More Practice. To Be Come Like Don Dokken.
Sure be nice is they learned how to play a 7th chord, learned about modulation or employ some dynamics. This is from an elementary school view of harmony.
Thank you for your expertise professor. Did you just google those terms "7th chord", "modulation" and "dynamics" prior to posting your expert opinion ? You did not specify which 7th you would like to hear, minor or major 7th ? This song actually doesn't have 7th chords but there are quite a few 9 and sus4 chords in there. Not that your musically trained ear would know the difference, they probably didn't teach that in your elementary school of harmony... Also, this song is in one key so it doesn't have modulation. You came for Dokken and expect dynamics... I don't believe you are in the right place...🤣
@@ChicagoRockhouse actually I've been in the music business for 30 years. Owned a label. Worked with some of the biggest names in the business. It's okay if you like Dokken. For my ears, it's just too simple, too predictable and lacks the basic tools to effectively create any kind of interest. Real musicians are capable of expressing a wide variety of moods and environments. Bands like these have one mode and that's it. Nothing wrong with that. But there's a difference between a riff and real music.

It's a simple riff, but agreed, it's a special Dokken song.
As a lifelong Dokken fan since the early 1980's - this was a great cover of an exceptional song. Great job!
very impressed with your bands ability to perfectly nail the songs and solos , great musicians
That’s a hellacious song to cover, lead singer has some major pipes! 🤘
This is why i wish real bands like those of the 70s 80s and early to mid 90s would come back...the shit they call music today is pathetic...the best time to be alive 79-97 nusic wise

So so so SO good! Don himself hasn't been able to nail it like this for years 👌🔥🤘😎
David shows off his range, lots of tough to hit highs done right.
One serious talented cover. Great sound quality. 👍
Thanks Kevin !

Thanks so much. Done in the same key as the record is HARD on any singer.
Cool 😎 Dokken Cover Song 🎸
Damn, you guys are great. It`s funny because I was in a band called Rockhouse in Texas. ☺
Should've had someone in a Freddy suite walking around lol. Nice job guys!
We actually had Dave wear Freddy's glove during Dream Warriors at one of our shows. It was hilarious 🤣
Dam this the best doken cover I have ever heard in my life
Once again this band knocks it out of the park! Superb job on this song! Keep on rocking!!!

I have been a Dokken fan and big George Lynch fan sense the 80s and I got to say you guys kicked some ass the guitar player dead on loved it sounded better then the last time I seen Dokken live.

Nice, love the auto-tune!

Jeez - maybe better than the original.
singer has a 99.2 percent of the voice for the song
Fuckin A dudes.
Reminds me of back when Don Dokken could sing. Poor guy - all that health stuff destroyed his voice

singer voice is too weak
