I LOVED Horrorstor- Basil was my favorite character. It's such a fun book and I'm glad I got the physical copy because its so cool! I'm also a HUGE DC fan and I haven't read Craven Manor yet so I need to check that out. Great video!
Thank you! Glad you also loved Horrorstor. Haha I know it has some mixed opinions but its such an odd book and I absolutely love it for that. And yes! The mixed media elements are very cool
these are all GREAT recs!!! I still need to read a darcy coates (I don't know what I'm waiting for haha!!), and I loved horrorstor! I feel like haunted houses is one of the BEST tropes in horror!
I liked this list. There's so much variety in horror (or any genre but anyway). I want a good mysterious supernatural situation. I'll check these out, thanks!
I'm definitely going to check out And The Trees Crept In! I'm currently reading Salvaged by Madeleine Roux, it's a sci-fi horror and i'm really enjoying it. I also have A Good House for Children by Kate Collins pre-ordered (don't know if it's real ghosts or not)
Thank you for doing an actual GHOST list!!! I've been googling for so long and am excited to finally not see kids' Halloween books. :) Love a good ghost story! Thank you!
Hi Shar, have you ever read any James Herbert, He wrote a book called the ghosts of sleath, its about a mass hauting in a small english villiage, it a follow on from another book called Haunted, which is about a haunted house. I loved Craven manor, not scary, but a fab story. Also Shar do you ready Indy horror?
@@sharreadsallday the ghosts of sleath one of the few books that creep me out, I was 16 when i read it. The villiage is hidden away in the chilton hills, a group of hill which run about 20 miles north of London. So not to far from where I live😊
This is the recommendation video I’ve been looking for! I love it when it’s actually a ghost and not the scooby doo moment of a man in a mask 😂
Haha exactly! I'm glad you found it helpful and lol so agree. If you're going to claim that it's haunted or a ghost, it better be haunted or a ghost
Huge fan of horror and paranormal stories!! I'm excited for the recommendations
