As we did not have a video recorder Iwas late for school my bus was at 8 20 , I did not care to much about the interviews it was the clips I cared about , if I remembered rightly there was a bit of woodstock and smothers brothers show smash -up , Later that year I watched "the kids ae alright " on vhs , I was blown away and can well understand why in New York the kids smashed up the cinema ! there is a news repot about this somewhere on YT , though my form teacher did not say anything as i was usually on time , RIP mr Joy [ who we used to tease quite badly and I now feel bad about this , RIP mr Joy you were a good man ]
Remembering Paul Butterfield Blues group ensemble harmonica virtuoso and Mike Bloomfield documentary dvd. The Superstride Johnny Guarnieri Derek Coller and Jazzology. Library of Congress and Memphis Hall of fame honors Louis Armstrong Hot Five and Hot seven with spouse Lil Hardin a composer, accomplished pianist, arranger their recordings available. Louisiana native Slim Harpo bluegrass vocalist and guitarist.
I've never seen this post-breakup/ pre-reunion set of interviews. Pete looks interesting here. Who grew the beard back and he wasn't quite as balding as he would be the following year or it doesn't show yet.
No, they reunited for a two month tour six years later. They then reunited eight years later after that. You're daft if you think that's a working band.

On the other hand, Roger's hair is absolutely ridiculous here
@@lptomtom No it doesn't. Early '80s hair.
I just love his hair it doesn't matter if they're long, short cut, whatever.
I think Roger looks gorgeous!
... and a year later they reunited!!
for 1 gig though

This interview is not from ‘82, WHO’S LAST was released the end of ‘84!
The live tour was in 1982 but was being shown in 1984
@@martinramsdale99 ???
@@lemurianchick APRIL 2022 I meant the album for the so called Who's Last concerts was being shown in 1984
@@martinramsdale99 It was recorded on the Farewell Tour of 1982 but not released until two years later in November 1984.
OCTOBER 2024
Thanks for the info, see I don't know everything about The Who then.
🇬🇧Ⓜ️🇬🇧👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗
A very glossy LP in its day
Sitting next to Don McLean?
My dad
Laughs in 2024
How many times have The Who announced their retirement?
@@jono1457-qd9ft I don’t know- I reckon they’ve had almost as many curtain calls as “The Mousetrap”!
Whos Last wasn't that bad heard lots of worse recordings
Subsitute, Magic Bus and Baba O’Riley in it were very good.
4:07 Who is it?
Kenny Jones, who took over from the Moon
Whos last is very bad lp
Odd picture on the back cover, too. It is always been strange to me that they really featured Kenny Jones in that photograph
The band hated it apparently... Could've been great because there were some excellent shows from the '82 tour.
Christ TV AM was anodyne and the presenters were so vapid!
