Thank you for this video. I didn't realize that the white tube was a sheath and didn't understand why it wasn't going down. Didn't realize it was hollow.

@@CJScratch it's way more than fun :) printing really well actually. I stil search how and for what, to use that usb type-c port. i can't see any program to recognize it for direct printing.
Greetings! This printer, compared to the Kobra Plus, which one could you recommend based on your criteria or experience? Of course, if you've tried both. It would be the first time that the person would use it and I would like to make a good choice since between the two I do not know from what sizes of pieces they can be created, among other things.
Thanks for the video. I just got this printer and this was super helpful. Question, does the boat print come pre loaded on the SD card that comes with the machine?

What software do you use for slicing for this model? I’m wanting to buy this since it’s on sale on Amazon but I want to make sure there is a good app for slicing
Hi, great video! Does the anycubics software wipe the nozzle? I'm using Cura right now cause that's what im used to and it's working perfectly except the nozzle wipe, I suppose there's gcode for that or is there any way to have that before prints? Thank you@@CJScratch
@@brekekee Just use a skirt to adjust the Z offset. The skirt also acts like a nozzle wipe as you call it. The purpose of the Nozzle wipe is just to get the filament flowing so it doesn't blob when starting a print.
I'm disabled and want to get into 3D printing, one of my main struggles is being able to find tune turning things to level beds. Does this do it automatically so I don't have to manually level? It isn't entirely possible given my conditions
Hey!! I just got one for Christmas and I am having some issues with the printer. When it moves up and down it makes a really loud rubbing noise that I can’t seem to fix! Do you have any recommendations to fix it??
Hi! I received the kobra 2 neo, I tried the automatic calibration but the nozzle is not centered, the calibration takes points outside the print bed. What can I do? it's normal? Looking at your video it seems like there is the same "problem"
Good overview, I'm yet to see much content out there for the kobra 2 Neo. I'm brand new to 3d printing I got mine a few days ago and have been having fun experimenting. So far had alot of luck on simple prints but really need to dial in some settings to get more complex things to come out. Currently getting alot of stringing but I'm working on that. I'm liking Orca slicer after trying pretty much all of the main ones
Hi, I bought the same printer. Could you tell me where did you connect one cable with "E" label? It is next to "X" one for stepper, but the instruction doesnt say a word about that one :) Also how tight should the belts be? Thank you in advance
Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. I have a problem though. The printer fails the auto leveling and fails calibration. It gives the error message that homing x failed. It only will start auto leveling if the module is all the way to the left, my left when I'm standing in front of the machine facing it. But it doesn't move from that position. It will go up and down but then fails the calibration as soon as it touches the plate. Any thoughts?
@@CJScratch Thanks for the reply. In settings there is an option to reset to defaults which I did but it didn't seem to have any effect. I'm currently waiting for customer service to get back to me.
Late reply, but the extruder is direct drive. It has a bowden tube because the spool is on the side of the printer. And also, bowden tube printers will print tpu when set up well, especially the ones that aren't super soft. My ender 3 v2 neo prints 92a tpu just fine, both big and small prints even with retraction and pressure advance enabled, still has a bowden setup but the extruder is replaced with a bmg clone.
While assembling mine, I have an extra plug with letter 'E' that seems to have nowhere to plug into. Am I missing something? I did notice that there is a wire hanging down in this video. Is it the same?

How is it doing now? I hope you are aware that Anycubic has precision tuned this printer for the benchy. Try something a bit larger. You will more than likely need to do a lot of dialing in. Anycubic is notorious for the lack of quality in their printers. After about 2 months, you will probably notice a deterioration of your print quality and maybe some failing parts. I have owned 2 anycubic printers. My first one was the Mega Zero, bowden tube printer. My second was the Kobra, a direct drive extruder. Both worked great out of the box. But both also started failing within 2 months. Mostly parts failing. It took over 4 months to finally get the last extruder from them. I got discouraged and turned everything off and never looked back. I wanted to print things, not dink around with fixing things. It was extremely frustrating.
i have the i3 mega as well it worked great my only issue with it was bed leveling i hated it cause it was a constant issue .. this printer has been solid so far no issues as long as its free from dust build up and for 160.00$ its solid ..
ive had a kobra max for little over 4 months and the only issues ive had was with a fan but anycubic sent me a new one within a week but no issues after
Thanks for this video … definitely helped me with the setup … I cannot get my filament to feed through the extruder … I am cutting at an angle and pushing the button on top of the extruder to load but it will not feed through … anyone reading this have any tips .. for this model one,,
My z height is showing -2mm as well. Have you found any way to reset/zero that z level?
you can do recalibration through settings

The rubbing noise is a loud noise sounding like it’s stuck or having trouble moving up and down. I have tried losing the wheels and that did nothing.
