Hey Murtis, thanks for asking. There is no insulation in this door. There are so many windows, and four garage doors in the space, that paying for the insulation seemed inconsequential.
@@bensherwood5409 makes total sense. I am trying to decide on this vs getting a super insulated Haas, but I do NOT want the 6” frame, that’s too bulky. Any preference between these 4x2 window setup or the 4x3?
@@iamMurfis The less framing, the better, in my opinion. It is quicker to clean larger plates of glass and there are fewer window sills to dust. Plus slightly better visibility.
@@bensherwood5409 Awesome good to know, because when I look at picture of the two, my eyes for some reason get drawn directly to center. So in this case all I look at is the divider in the 4x2. I am going to a local dealer to see in person this coming week. Thanks again for all the quick responses.
I purchased my doors through Lux Garage Doors, an online retailer out of California. The doors were then manufactured and shipped from a local (to me) supplier. Costs vary based upon options.
