- Finally! The time has come for my Raynor All Glass Garage Doors to be installed on RRHQ 2.0. I have wanted all glass garage doors since we had them installed on the Music Garage Project a while back. The only change I knew I wanted was for the glass to be tinted!! Wait till you see how they turned out! Let me know what you think of the glass garage doors

Those springs were impressive. I get nervous tightening the springs on my door. Those beasts are on another pucker factor level.

Pretty standard in the commercial industry. Judging by the massive winding cones I’d say they are at least 50k cycle springs. Unless that’s how Raynor does their Duplex springs

@@mikef6879 I've never had the opportunity to see a spring for doors like this. I have only ever seen standard residential garage door springs. This is prompting me to look at the springs at one of the buildings at work. The doors have to be 60x80 or something so im sure those are insane.
Wow, the garage door installers let you film the install up close and personal. I'm sure that's the exception rather than the rule.

They donate labor and probably give free or massive discount on door, their company gets advertisement.
I hope he got the door for free , and they paid him a chunk of cash for the "advertisment" lol ..
Kyle said at the beginning that this is the company he uses all the time for garage door installation on his customers builds. So they are his local go to supplier and installer. It’s always good to foster good working relationships for reliable tradesman. 👍

I install garage doors and its nice to see a contractor that actually cares enough to prepare the building for the installation of the door. Im actually surprised that they didn't install a chain pull temporarily on the big door until you where ready for the power operator it makes it easier and safer to open and close. Great job the install boys
Installed some glass doors at a fire station in Fontana, Ca, almost 30 years ago, the stress level was unreal.
I have never seen springs that huge before. Amazingly impressive. Thanks to the installers fro letting us get so up close and personal for the installation. Seriously beautiful looking doors. All I can say is that I would not want to get the bill for the big door. Great video, thanks.
The springs on that first door to say they were monsters holy crap you’re no lie, but it is what it is. There’s some serious engineering involved in that and those doors are absolutely gorgeous.

Those doors are ridiculous. So quiet, so good looking. The install was flawless. Amazing.
Door guys did great, especially with the camera in their face. Winding those springs takes a special kind of bravery.
I used to install garage doors for a living. Both doors cost an absolute fortune I guarantee you.
I was thinking the same thing but I'm sure RRBuildings got a huge discount because of Kyle's reach and influence.

@@Monsieur405 yes, they absolutely do 'do' top notch work and I'm sure he gets paid well for the work that they do. My comment related to the fact that the garage door installers company, as a result of being featured on RRBuildings video will get a lot of eyes viewing their work which may translate to future work for that company. That social media exposure via RRBuildings may be worth a discount to RRBuildings.

On my building, there's a 8x10 door on a 16ft sidewall. So it basically goes straight up the wall. They installed the same size springs on that small door as the 14x14 door.

I adjusted my 8x12 with two 36" 3/8 Snap-on extensions.
You definitely need good steel and not thin pipe.
I also changed rollers,and nearly cut my hand off on the first lower roller.
I didn't notice the cable was attached to the roller bracket.😮

Kyle my shoulders are trash take care of them don't keep putting it off 50 years of construction and 40 years of playing ball have taking a toll on my body. Also the doors look great and that was by far the biggest spring I've ever seen
Beautiful building and doors. My building is red with black doors. Walk doors were painted at a body shop. Outdoor light and outdoor electrical boxes were sprayed black before it went up. I sprayed gas pipe into building black. I was a little aggravated when I noticed the seals between glass pains were white.
My house has a Raynor door.

I kinda miss I stalling and repairing residential and commercial garage doors.
I installed big industrial garage doors at an uranium enrichment plant once and had to be interviewed by the FBI and background check and get a temp clearance and still had security with me the whole time. Even when I went to the bathroom.
Made a boat load of money on that month long job.

We quit doing Metal wrapped jambs. After a few years the small dents,scratches etc made it look less than desirable. We now use 1x PVC

I put a 7' x 10' door on my pub shed that looks just like that except looking out you can see through the glass as a tinted dark brown. Looks cool!

Garage door springs are no joke. They store a lot of energy when wound up. People have been injured and/or killed during installation.
First off, You're killing it. It looks amazing and my back hurts just watching you. Secondly, I remember you talking about the restrictions from your city in one of your first videos in this series. I'm curious how often an Inspector comes out and flags things to be corrected? I did a room addition 20 years ago and the city was busting my chops on every single thing, even though it was up to code. I spent a lot of time getting my subs back out to "fix" the item.

Owh maan! You definitely need these converted to electric! They'll become such a pain in the butt over time.
With electric doors you can put a remote in your vehicles, so you can get in the building without ever getting out of the vehicle. Makes life a lot easier.

Those springs are no joke, yep I'm one of the guys. I used an Allen wrench (I had no idea about those long rods) to loosen the bolts. then it was off to the emergence room for a dislocate knuckle and a broken finger - the Allen wrench as it went around cut a grove in the door header.
Love the look of the doors guys! I'm assuming you powder coated your tracks and mounting hardware black? I went with the new LiftMaster jack shaft opener on my doors, it's really quiet! Hoping to get my wall tin installed this week, the guys got all the J & F trim installed and ready to go. I have all the extra wood backing for my air compressor and electrical reels ready to go also.

I am a door installer of 15 years i put jack shaft openers on all my commercial doors not just high lift doors.
You just have pusher springs at the back of the rails also tilt the rails higher at the back

I use to install Raynor doors along with all the other brands but I found that Raynor door and Garaga doors are the best doors in the market
