I am 77 I have eliminated 50 pounds I increased water intake I eat my last meal at 5:00 pm do not eat or drink again till 5:00am no sugar and nothing in a box I eat frozen vegetables not fresh this is so informative thank you thank you I also kayak, ride my bike 20 miles and walk 6 miles a day and swim when I can get a pool I am not going down without a fight 🥳
Done. Started intermittent fasting 6 years ago after my second child was born and it has helped me maintain a BMI of 21-22 at age 44 after two babies. Same weight as in my early 20s. Eliminating sugar and processed simple carbs helps control my ADHD/bipolar brain which is a bonus.
On Octuber 25 I start eating fats and got rid of carbohydrates, sweet, bad oils. I start seeing results and lost 15 pounds. Not craving sweet and listing to my body how I feel and doing right choice. No more inflammation in my body. I am thankful and I thank all this videos that help me. Thank you

I decided to get a dietician. We did Zoom meetings once a week for 6 months I lost 3 lbs -- which she thought was great. She believes 3 meals a day, totaling 1200 calories a day...always STOP eating before you feel full. I call it the COITIS INTERRUPTUS method of weight loss. STOP before satisfied. I am determined to lose 80 lbs. I am 71 and this weight needs to go before it kills me! I am going to try 18/6 intermittent fasting and keto.
I’m 66 I’ve lost 20 kilos and off meds. I stopped eating cakes breads pastas and sugars and gentle exercise in a park or jog in a pool it’s been so easy and I water fast one two or three days depending how I feel . I feel amazing and people think I look 20 years younger . Go for it
Every person has a different version of the same information leading me to believe they all know better than my medical doctors who tell me I shouldn’t fast 😒
Fasting means different things. Are you going to fast during the day and then in the evening have a small meal. Then before sunrise have a small breakfast. I don’t think it means not to eat.
@@marydenise7401 Skipping a meal is NEVER fasting. Only in USA would people think that. The minimum historical fast was 'not eating' during morning and afternoon.
This is awesome. I am 6 weeks into a 20/4 fast eat cycle and down 5 percent or 10 pounds. My sex drive has dropped some but I think more carbs will help there when I need it again. Been doing mostly Keto.
When i turned 36 last year, i practiced omad and quit smoking. since then i lost 100 lbs in 1 year. im also off statins which i took for 6 months. now im trying to do 10k steps a day by low impact walking and doing jumping rope for intensity and it were the best decisions i ever made. i still have a long way to go to make it a lifestyle instead of going into yoyo weight

Take aways - 1)if you trying to lose weight - eat more protein and salad, try avoid eating carbohydrates and sugar. 2)Fast in the morning; in fact fast as much as you can, it's good for you!(Obviously anorexia is not what you are aiming for so keep it reasonable). 3) Be cautious of over exercising, as you might be wearing your self out. Enjoy your exercise routine and you can -work and exercise at the same time. 4)Sleep a little cold - actually I realised that using a blanket that is thinner makes you colder and that is better for sleep. 5) You lose fat when you breathe! No wonder the inside of my cars windscreen needs a good clean! ha ha
I bake my own fresh organic sour dough bread ( from my own starter I made a year ago) and add to my dough: flax, hemp, chia, sunflower, pumpkin seeds and a little Goji berry. Having a slice or two a day ( depending on size of slice) is very healthy yes, we all wanta LGN so good eating is essential and the amount we eat is where the tricks come in for each of us with veggies, fruits and proteins. I eat/ cook fresh and healthy. FYI... organic sour dough bread is Biblical and being sour dough it does not contain the gluten that most people do NOT want nor need. Going back to natural is best.
