    Very interesting lecture. Is it possible that the transmission of cultural went from Ethiopia to Southern Arabia rather than in the other direction?

      The "tihamma culture" was a tool culture used by the people of the Eritrean and Ethiopian highlands and coasts that travelled to Yemen between 3000bc and 2000bc

      If that was the case you would find geez script everywhere in Tigrai. However, this is not the case as this is very isolated monuments. In contrast the letters that Geez borrowed are found abundantly in Southern and North Arabia.

    The "tihamma culture" was a tool culture used by the people of the Eritrean and Ethiopian highlands and coasts that travelled to Yemen between 3000bc and 2000bc. So the cross cultural tradition between ethiopia and Yemen is older than popularly reported

    13:35 "the so called Sphinx is a sacrificial altar where the complete sculpture shows a drainage system for blood. This Sphinx was discovered in the Adulis / Kohaito region and it pre-dates the Axum empire it also pre-dates the Sphinx in Kemet a.k.a ancient Egypt. The Sphinx belongs to the Adulite (Adulis) civilization according to Dr. Yosef of Eritrean National Museum." The Sphinx is currently in the National Museum of Eritrea in Asmara.

      There is no such thing as"adulite civilization" nor are qohaito and adulis close to each other , all of the ancient towns in northern Ethiopia and eritrea have d'mt origins axum rose from the collapse of d'mt and reunitied the region , before axum the towns were small and even after axum they stayed small in comparison with roman or persian towns ,not enough population to have an independent polity

    This is nothing short of utterly fascinating. The trade networks........the interaction between ancient cultures seems so underrated it's silly. And look at that architecture!!!....Like to see the slug heads that make this ugly drab square stuff we get in the so called modern era build beauty like that. Wish I could ask Prof. Harrower a question concerning SOLAR observations/discoveries. This was excellent.

    Renounce the pagan symbol of the Taurid Stream that almost wiped out mankind 12,900ka minus the in situ date and accept Christianity. Very similar to the Saint George story, forget about those pesky bolide dragon stories.

      @mitchelldavis482 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is a bit incomprehensible.

    • @bardmadsen6956
      @bardmadsen6956 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mitchelldavis482 - Did you not see the gemmed ring with the incised bovine and all the other horned objects? It is not my fault that mankind has forgotten the great mysteries about our cyclic bombardment from above. Compare the Chelyabinsk meteor footage with its two vortices to the Chinese New Year Dragons chasing the bright pearl. In India the bovine is venerated as was in Egypt, matter of fact it is ubiquitous except in the Americas where it is a Feathered Serpent (also in Egypt) or Thunderbird. It is metaphorical descriptions of comets and bolides from the Taurid Stream, appearing or radiating from the Pleiades within the Taurus Constellation. On the site were also found Christian artifacts showing a transition from the pagan belief to the solar cross which is part of the latter if you will. Is that more comprehensible or should I continue? I would just love to see the books in the Chicago Oriental Institute, the same story is within them, I know for a fact. Follow the avatar.

    If you understand the demented deception of religion you will immediately see that when an inscription is near or over a doorway its intent must be to Bless all individuals deserving to pass through that doorway NOT the building itself!

      Are you sure that the pendant does not picture a religious scene to the right below the central cross? Having been at one time a Knight of the alter I see Christ fallen to his knees carrying that cross with an individual standing there looking on. That is a scene that one can view in any real catholic church.

      Brendan passed out gold & silver crucifixes that were worn by Native American Chiefs & passed down through tribes to subsequent chiefs. At least one chief was wearing one that Columbus noticed when he arrived 900 years later! He realized that they WERE NOT savage & ended his genocide!
