    Well done.
    Even with drones, it must be very
    difficult to do archaeology in that
    part of the world. An area devastated by war, political instability, and enormous cultural loss (Palmyra).

    Blows my mind ... figuratively... that they did manage good science in all the ... hub-bub ... over there.

    What if the "Road" is actually a "Wall" that has fallen over to one side, from end it end, so now what was once a wall appears as a road?

    Was Uttu actually envisioned as a spider or is this a modern misconception?

    Hate the audio. whistles off each word like a chirping bird. If its a phone recording please dont use that one anymore. : ) Does anyone know what causes this? Quite common. Its like a wet underground parking garage or under a sink of dishes. Tinny and annoying.

      URSUS ENLIL I guess it's a denoise processing (like in face time/skype) these algorithms take out static noise of the room and in this case ventilation of the macbook. problem is that it doesn't filter out harsh hiss sounds but amplifies them over a certain threshold. very hard to listen to, worse than phone calls imo

      Yeah. I'm not sure how much of the problem is caused by his laryngitis, but the audio is (IMO) unlistenable.

    does every presenter, regardless of accent, insist on uptalking?

      Chili and Donuts what do you mean by "uptalking"?

    • @nukelaloosh4795
      @nukelaloosh4795 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      miroslav, there are countless examples posted right here on youtube.

      Chili and Donuts I have no idea what "uptalking" means. Is it something about the intonation of the lecturers' voices or... what?

    • @ysobel14517
      @ysobel14517 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Miroslav, it usually refers to the unfortunate habit of ending a statement with an upward inflection that makes it sound like a question. People who do this on a regular basis should be beaten senseless.

      Miroslav Georgiev The right-wingers for some reason have been obsessed with “uptalking” lately. Since making fun of intelligent people for using fancy, big words is going out of style they replaced it with making fun of “uptalking”.
