    I used this defence and I called it 'Moi's spear'. My coach put his own style into this defence making it almost impossible for upper body to get hit

    Love your teaching on 'moving forward '.... adding offensive moves like fake kick or teep to this makes it hard for that retreating fighter to land clean shots

    This will quickly become one of the best muay thai channels on youtube, guaranteed. The knowledge you guys are dropping here and the method of instruction is phenomenal, very clear and easy to follow and incorporate into my own training. Worth mentioning, that "high knee" style of entry is very similar to Jonathan Haggerty who arguably has one of the most perfect muay thai techniques currently, so it really does work!

    This is some of the best Muay Thai training I have watched, I love that its mostly videos of you training the young man and we just get to witness it, Super authentic approach, It shows just how interested and knowledgeable you are as if you barely notice the camera.
    Ive followed you for a while now, the first time I heard the term "Yaisu" was one of your interview and it's stuck with me since.
    The young man will be a serious force in the next few years, He's already one of the most technically brilliant I've seen.
    Hope to meet you both in the future

    What if I had my guard like southpaw (right hand farther from the head). And when shouldn't I use the long guard and have the palms face forward? I'm short. Btw great video

    Would you say this active defense is less powerful under kickboxing rules where knees/grabbing are not allowed? Also I always get bashed by my coach when I use the cross guard too much...

    question, since the hands are not tight to the face can't you be more vulnerable to hand strikes to the head since there is a bigger opening with the way the hands are up?

    • @KMAAcademy2020
      @KMAAcademy2020  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You have to stuff the shots, hand control, timing, knee and the elbow ,however there is always a risk to get punched in the face no matter how you hold your hands, that’s part of the game! Thx for watching ✅
