7:48 Thanks for doing that. Apart of me thinks that if the eyes were more centered and angled so that he's looking down (like his chin is up and he's looking straight if that makes more sense) it would be way better than what McFarlane gave us. Great review.

Great review always enjoy them. I think the name Ultraman is trade marked by a Japanese superhero with the same name so DC can't use it on a box or comic cover. The same way Marvel comics did with the name Captain Marvel so DC has to use Shazam for comic titles.
I think Shazam is the dumbest name possible ? I mean anytime he'd introduce himself he's gonna turn into Billy again ? hahaha,not much thought went into that huh DC ?lol

I'm surprised you're missing ONE really good Ultraman figure from DC Collectibles. You should get DC Collectibles New 52 Crime Syndicate Ultraman. That's still the best Ultraman figure made so far. I think it's 7" scale just like McFarlane. You should definitely get it before it gets too expensive. If you do get it, be careful with the figure, tho, because plastic isn't as strong as the ones now, and can easily break. Other than that, it's the best looking Ultraman figure.
I take it back. The DC Collectibles Ultraman is too small to the McFarlane figures.

It’s so bad that it’s almost good
I ran across a short vid on FB where a fellow collector took the Shrek Superman head and let it soak in boiling water for 5 min. He then removed it, then let it soak for 5 min in ice cold water. That caused the jaw line to even out a bit and the overall look wasn't so horrid.

I think the hush Gold Label angry Superman should have been included in this set instead. Seems like they were made for each other to be locked In Combat.

Dhunter, people complain if the figure is the same as before, that's why I see he came up with that Superman goofy face, to mock a little the people that complains too much for repeating the same figure in these two packs, but it is only another Superman at the end of the day.

Ok got an EASY fix. Pop the ball peg out of The Dark Knight Returns Superman’s neck. It’s twice as long and makes it 100% times better!!!!

D-hunter you were an absolute completionist. I love the DC Multiverse line but this was an absolute pass for me. I'm not buying another Superman until they make a new Superman body buck. Eighty-five years to celebrate Superman in they keep rolling out this crappy body. With all the new tooling they put in for other figures and they can't foot the bill for a new Superman
They released a couple Superman figures on the page puncher body recently too

People keep asking for a smiling superman but that never translates well to plastic. The reactions for the two mezco's attempts and this is mockery and dismiss. I don't know why but when i see this superman figure all I can think is in james gunn's superman.

I’m so tired of the infected superman it’s a little to bulky for a lot of the Superman’s they put on it like hush Superman
It was ok, but then they used it like 12 times and now we realize it was never ok…
I almost exclusively want this for that Ultraman but it's so not worth that $40 price tag. The hideous Superman head isn't even the only bad thing. That cape and that belt are awful too.

When you pop the head on a taller peg and fix the jawline, I honestly think he looks great. His top lip might be a bit dark, though.

I really am getting tired of this sculpt for sure. It still has that weird taper to the bottom of the S shield they never fixed. It always bugs the hell out of me. Its also such a bulky sculpt. I really wish McFarlane would retool the Action Comics 1,000 Superman to have double jointed elbows and knees and use THAT instead. It's such a good figure and like yourself, is also my favorite still.
Me and other people literally mentioned this and we got attacked. Bro literally said why getting mad about toys, don’t buy it. And the scale of that Superman is terrible. We still haven’t fixed the scaling issues.
@@tankcoatpink Yeah McFarlane has some real scaling issues. Still a lot of great sculpts in general but yeah, I owned the Rebirth Superman for a day or two and just was so disappointed by the torso. It's a shame people gotta go on the offensive just because you voice not liking something they do.

I honestly think the issues with this go beyond the head.
The hands in addition to the head makes him look like Shrek. The neck makes him look fat.
