Additionally, the Korean title of this song (소리꾼) translates to "singer" as it relates to those storytellers in Pansori. The pun also exists because the literal translation is "noise master". The album this song is from is NoEasy (pronounce Noisy). This album was a clapback to the increasing complaints that they only create noise music. So they said in this song, not only are we noisy, we are Thunderous. There is a lot of sampling of traditional Korean instruments (flutes and drums) and a lot of Korean traditions. Stay Phylisbrown1181: The animated creatures, in the beginning, are mythical Korean creatures called Dokkabei. They came to earth & transformed into Stray Kids, hence the blue floating flames. The storyline: The village is holding a talent competition. The Dokkabei decide to come to earth to participate. Since they are the Thunderous Ones (Sorrikun), they are loud & unapologetic about being so. They stick to their principles & will stand against whatever comes their way. In the end, they will be victorious because they ARE SORRIKUN. The song is a diss track for haters. Their songs were called noisy and not well received in their home country of South Korea.
Thunderous refers to people who play pansori in Korean traditional music. This song uses Korean traditional costumes, background, and instrumental sounds
If you listen to the instrumental you’ll hear that the modern instruments gradually get switches out for traditional instruments!! The whole thing is sort of a love letter to traditional korean dance and instruments.
oh if you love anime you'll love skz , they have 3 big anime fans in the group and two of them happens to be the two main producers/writers of the group (han and bang chan) (+plus lee know the other anime fan) specially chan LOVES anime references and han get inspired by anime and dramas to write at times so yeah they even have a song with the japanese singer LiSA , she's known for singing anime openings like the very famous demon slayer , the song is called "social path" and it's one of their (of course) japanese songs also skz has a song called "TOP" that is the opening for "tower of god" I think you'd like it , anyways loved the reaction

Since you really seem to love the famnce practices, may i suggest you do 'Double Knot' Performance Video (the Korean version... which they filmed in parking garage in LA while they were there in 2019 for their first Kcon.) As well as the their MV for 'Easy'! (Much of which was literally filmed with handhelds. So they are BOTH the epitome of low budget... 😂 The amazing MVs they have, they had to earn. The bigger and better they got, the bigger and better their budget got.) However that's ok, because as great as the songs are, and... they ARE, they're only half the reason for the recommendation. Lol Because when I say you will LOVE the dance practices for these, i mean it. They are both very different from one another, to give you a real idea of their range. 😊
