I love how knuckles has strength and precision. No matter how fast sonic goes, if knuckles can time it right, he'll be able to land a hit. Also really like what he did in the beginning when he used the ground to his advantage. Knuckles isn't just a dumb brute
Awesome work! I like how at the beginning Sonic was just a smudge circling Knuckles and he was too fast for him to see properly. Also, I really liked how Knuckle's quills have actual motion when he moved. Seeing Knuckles humble Sonic by punching him out of a spindash made my day! :)
honestly you nailed the dynamic of sonic vs knuckles because i feel like too many people says "sonic is just faster so he will win" without considering that knuckles is fast enough to not get blitz
Knuckles doesn’t have immeasurable speed, he is fast but not faster. Sonic doesn’t just blitz bc of speed it’s bc of the force he is outputting. Knuckles is stronger than sonic in lifting matters but if we are talking about strength it goes to sonic. Knuckles can’t touch sonic nor can he see sonic. While knuckles is taking punches moving beyond irrelevant speed. Knuckles is always cheering Sonic on and has not won a single battle

I really like how you showed Knuckles as a competent fighter, like at 0:38 , waiting for Sonic to spin dash only to immediately knock him down. Brilliant stuff. In fact, this whole animation is brilliant. The animation and art style is undoubtedly fluid and superb! 🤌
I like the sense of mass and physical presence Sonic's speed and Knuckles strenght has in this animation, it's a thing I find really lacking in the movies watching those CGI models that doesn't even seem to have weight being lazilly turned into light streaks or having timestop scenes. Not to mention their speed feels inconsistent as shit.
I like that Sonic and Knuckles are practically brothers now but I miss when they were rivals. It was so cool. What I love most about Knuckles character and his rivalry with Sonic is that his power is different from Sonic's with it being insane strength instead of him being yet another fast character that tries to beat Sonic at his own game such as Metal Sonic, Shadow, Surge. sonic's speed is his biggest weakness. its a crutch, take away his ability to move as freely as he wants in a fight and he's way less of a threat. he's pretty capable without it of course but i think he'd lose to knuckles, shadow, amy in a "fair" fight
