yea that sparking joy thing doesn't work for me either. From extensive travel with work, I have found that I can buy things needed for that area pretty cheap, usually at dollar stores or thrift stores, and then when I leave I can donate it back. I think the heaviest thing is my laptop. Hard to live without it.
Thanks for sharing! I'm always curious to see and learn from other females who've gone minimal. It can be hard cutting down on hygiene/beauty care items, but I like the system you've got going on!
I agree, it's definitely a work in progress! I'll be sharing a video soon going more in-depth about the reusable pads if that interests you as well :) thanks for watching!
Luv your video. I'm trying to live my life as a minimalist. I'm trying to get rid of things I don't need or don't need anymore. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hello there! I've been looking into minimalism for multiple reasons and I found this very helpful and inspiring! I see this channel is fairly new and I like what you have put out so far so I subscribed! I wish you well in your journey and will be praying for you!
Very late to this party; but you present your data smoothly and confidently. I believed what you said because you sounded like you believed it yourself. Great video! I’ve been minimalist for 10 years and love your perspective.....👍
1. Get an online backup for your drive. They fail very often and the backup is super cheap. 2. A knife is no good for self defence unless you're willing to stab someone and possibly face jail time. Get something legal - like pepper spray depending on the country.
yeah it is hard and it's so easy to acquire more and more things over time! for me it helps to pay attention to what I regularly use, and get rid of things that I haven't touched in a while
Ann West I had a pair of sandals but they were worn down from Senegal so I tossed them. I actually haven’t worn that dress in a while so I will probably need to get a new pair at some point! lol
Good video :-) Decluttered almost 80% of my belongings and still a way to go, it's a process. I hope the bunny is a lot out of his cage because the cage looks a bit to minimalistic to me :-\
good question! when I filmed this video I was actually living in a house where I inherited those items from the person who lived there before me, and I left them behind when I moved out. I currently own cooking items now though
I enjoy your content, delivery and presentation. I am also a follower of your Sis (Ris?). Seeking guidance: I am the exact opposite of a minimalist, but I would like to begin. I live in an apartment and have a room, solely used to store "things". Due to sickness, my weight has dramatically increased. I have old clothes that currently don't fit- including SEVERAL shoes/ slippers, etc ... I am currently home- bound. What is a logical place to start?

I'd consider myself a minimalist/aspiring minimalist. I still have a lot of excess and could get rid of more but it's a journey!
That's great to hear, it is a journey indeed! What is your motivation for being minimalist?

Curious, which shoes do you wear with your black dress?

Or invest in self defense training. It weighs nothing, and can’t be used against you unlike pepper spray.
its so hard to go minimalist and ive been working on it for years.... a never ending maintaance

Chris Hayes Music Thanks so much! Your music is awesome
You have a little more than me, that's right. For example... I don't have such a cool video from my stuff. 👍 Well done!
Thanks so much! :)
We only need 3 outfits for winter 3 for summer and two pair of shoes.
This video is 4 years old. In 2024 are you still a minimalist. Could you do an update
She lives in a van now
What an inspiration.
Love the bunny though. 😊
“My reusable pads are one of my favorite things to share with people”

Nice video! Thanks for sharing! Do you own any bedding?
Thanks for watching!:) At the time I made this video I did not, but my partner did that we gave away when we left Laos. Same with kitchen items.
What about cooking items?
good question! when I filmed this video I was actually living in a house where I inherited those items from the person who lived there before me, and I left them behind when I moved out. I currently own cooking items now though
Working on 2 years now.
Cory Shelton that’s awesome! 👏👏👏

There's a lot of editing! A bit difficult to follow. Best wishes in your travels!
Thanks for the feedback! I tried to keep it somewhat short hence all the editing but I'll keep that in mind next time!
