Who cares if the dress is tight. Why don't you simply shut your eyes and enjoy this magnificent voice instead of always looking for a negative. If we were all blind, we would only judge on what we hear, not what we see. This woman's voice should be bottled and stored for eternity. IMO.
One of the great Mozart interpreters of our time. It is my opinion that Mozart suited her voice best and without her shoot to superstardom we would have had many more years of Ms. Fleming in this repertoire.

Yes. I agree. Ms. Fleming has an incredibly beautiful voice but I am a soprano and if I approached Mozart this way vocally, my teachers would have crucified me. That being said, I think she is magnificent.

Her Mozart was always spectacular. She is one of the best Contessas and Donna Annas that I have ever heard.
But hear also Elizabeth Schwartzkofp. A more ‘choral’ voice than this singer (as a Leider singer), also a sublime version

Ms. Fleming all due respect, but this is in aria is from the Classical era not Romantic, you're using too much rubato.
Exactly, she's not singing in style. Too much portamenti, not regular tempo, not clean music line...
