I love the style of editing of this.. unique woodworking channel and not just a repeat, constantly useless talking and secretly selling their paid promotions, etc like 95% of other woodworking channels. 🎉
Thank you!! nothing to promote but my patreon lol
Watched the whole thing sitting in a crib with my kids. Great video.
Hopefully the one cuss word brushed right passed them unnoticed 😬
Same, was bouncing my 3 week old daughter watching this - she loves watching woodworking stories :)
He's gonna have high volume channel in no time. Don't change anything and don't let this YT fame once it comes, get the best of you.
No chance I’ll change!!
Looks great! I wish we could see the whole thing in one frame. Thanks for sharing!
I know sorry, there was literally no space for me to move in the garage while I was taking the pictures
I give it 7 months till youve got over 500k subs. Mark my words
Wow… that would be insane!! I’ll give it my best shot to make it happen
@@LateNightWoodworking i claim free merch if it happens lol
@@AlexDMast If it does, you will definitely get free merch lol
You must be new to TH-cam
Agreed. First few mins I already knew he's going right into my top watched channels now. He's not like other regurgitating nonsense channels

Finally highlighted that Adam’s Apple in all it’s glory! Hahaha And hey, you finally used the tool I bought you for Christmas!
J’ai passé un moment très agréable devant votre vidéo, beau travail tant filmique que pratique ! Merci 🌻
I’m glad!! Thank you! :)
I love the Brotherton book! Its is a great resource for me too in trying to improve my sharpening. Awesome video!
Yeah it’s great! Thank you!! :)
So relaxing, this is top notch editing, it is literally a movie 🎥 🍿
Tthat means a lot! Thank you!!
Genuinely don't understand why you don't have more subscribers! I've been filming everything I do, and it's nowhere near this level of filming...Keep up the great work, I hope you make it big!
😊
Just need some time I think! But hey thank you that's very nice! :)
Nice bow ties bro
The 'Subscribe' in the shavings was awesome. This was a great project.
haha thank you! I'm curious how many people picked up on it...
I definitely understand being afraid of some if not all of the machinery, I do woodworking myself and I hope to be on TH-cam at some point. I wanted to tell you though, don't worry about the negative people cause you do good work. Not everyone likes the same style and your style is good, not to mention your editing skills which are on point btw. Never be afraid to try something new either, you never know what you might learn or what skills you might obtain from it. Stay safe and Happy Building 💯😁
Thank you! I appreciate the comment and nice words! I don’t let them get to me ;)
awesome film making and great woodworking!
❤️ thank you!
love it as always! Great work brudder
The lighting for the reveal, amazing, unique and well done.
Thank you! :)
Love the video and the desk. You can use that piece as an entryway table or behind your couch or a desk. I wish my entryway was bigger so I can have it as a beautiful statement piece.
I'm very impressed with both the design and the workmanship. It looks great.
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Simplesmente incrível! Parabéns! 🥂🎉🤗
Thank you!
I really love the legs design. Very well done 👍 and perfect music for the reveal 👌😄
😂 thanks!! :)
Love the vid as always, great work! Maybe you should do a video that teaches people a little too and then my husband can learn how to build me things!
😂😂😂😂
Love the build brother Skål 🫡
Thank you!! 🫡
definitely deserve tons more subs. the projects are beautiful and love that you work out of a small space like me with similar tools. but the video editing is TOP NOTCH. keep it up bro!
Thank you so much!! 😊
Had to watch 19:25 again to see the glue eruption!
Good video and build.
Worth a subscription and like.

Haha thank you James!!!
The camera work, editing, music choice, and woodworking are all very well done and very satisfying. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate that!! I try :)
Find Buy Tool is a legit cost savings for a helical cutter head and great quality vs the it’s more expensive competition. I have the same planer set up as does someone on my local woodworking forum. Zero complaints; even figured wood planes virtually glass smooth. I too share your view on bowie inlays and install them the same way but I use a bandsaw with sled jig to create the bowties.
yeah it's been great so far! and I don't have a bandsaw so I'm stuck doing it by hand.
Sorry, had a little touch of PTSD seeing all those wood chips and you cleaning it up with a broom and waste basket.....dude, you're killing me!
sorry brian
Great build and HELLO from Kitsap County.
Thank you! Hello neighbor!!
Thank you so much, Griffin! to be honest, I was just as nervous as you were before you tested this cutter head in the video, it was such a relief when everything turned out well! Another great video and good luck with the 10K goal!
Of course!! Thanks for the blade! I’m glad it’s been a good experience for the both of us. :)
That was really a great video, the combination of hand and power tools was what made it for me. Thanks for this, an easy subscribe.
Thank you! Happy to have you aboard! :)
Bro I love your video it's very . . . . . . I don't have the words but like you said "quiet hours" I am subscribed 💯 Thank you for the inspiration 🧡🪵💯
And thank you for your sub! Glad I could inspire you!
Everything is authentic.
First time here and I can only imagine the dimension this channel can surpass. Power to you.
One honest feedback:
I was concern while you're joining the legs like, 'I could've added dowels but I knew you will come up with something that would make it sturdy which you did yet again I had an heart attack while you were banging it hard.
Overall everything's too legit.
Excited and I'll keep watching.
Wow great comment! Thank you! Happy to have you around :)
I can see you take heavy inspiration from foureyes furniture. Great video! You’ve earned my sub
Thank you for the sub! What makes you say that? I watch his videos, and watching this one back I feel like my voice sounds like his sometimes
Comic sans for the title? Bold move cotton
I love bow ties in the exact way you use them. You keep doing you and ignore the noise. BTW, where’d you get that sweet little shoulder plane?
I believe it’s a wood river plane!
Thanks for the tip for FindBuyTools. I just looked up my Grizzly g1021 and their helical blade for it has a pretty reasonable price. As for the desk, while I am not a fan of bow ties yours look pretty nice. I LOVE the accent splines in the corners of the base. The desk looks amazing. Great build!
Yeah no problem! And thank you! I’m a super big fan of the splines too. Maybe I’ll make it my signature look.
Keep on, you're doing it man. In fact, I'm inspired to start my own channel. Thank u
Oh no way!! Love to hear it!
Personally, I like the bow ties. The walnut in the maple has beautiful contrast.
Love your channel. The filming is fantastic. What’s your camera setup like?
Thank you! I just use a canon eos r7, and an Amaran 60 light
I use wood gouge for my linocut prints and they are so thin (0.5 mm) it is very hard to sharp. Lucky for me they are Swiss made, very well done so it is rare that I have to sharpen them.😂
That is nice! I have to sharpen all my tools they are so dull
Your goals well within reach bro! Fantastic work and beautifully delivered gets better every time 👏🔥
Appreciate it man! Excited for your next one!
Thanks for revealing your wood to us !
lol you are so welcome!
There is a lot about this video that I really enjoyed. It was refreshing. Your video was like a story unfolding.... had suspense and some unexpected elements. I found it relatable in a few ways.... for example, developing my sharpening skills and navigating a build around a small work space. I like how you presented it with the production.
As for the table..... I feel that metal legs would look better. Not saying those are bad.... but I feel like contrasting material might make it pop more. The dark stretcher on the legs is a nice touch, I just don't think it was enough. That, of course, is just my opinion... as you asked.
Nice work.... Newly subscribed!
See you in the next one.
I really appreciate this comment! I’m glad you found it relatable, and yeah maybe metal legs would look better! I’m no design expert lol. I’ll see you in the next one!!!
Amazing editing man. Great work. The vibes were awesome 👍🏻
What lighting are you using?
Thank you!! I'm using an Amaran 60x bi-color!
Videos keep gettting better and better! Good stuff!
Thank you!! 😊

I hope so too! Thanks so much! :)
Amazing video once again, story telling will very few words. Subscribed sence your first video and I’m also trying to getting into making my one wood working videos
Thank you! Glad to have had you since the start! Good luck with your video!! :)
Like others have said, you're going to grow like crazy. Great video. Subscribed and excited for more. 🤙
Thanks for the sub! I appreciate that a lot, gives me confidence in myself!! :)
Amazing scenes man, really nice video 👍
Appreciate it!!
you know that the ajuster on the low angle plaje moves the blade side to side and up and down right? you dont have to hit your plane like a wooden japaneese one
i do know that, i just find that it's a small target and it's just easier to hit the side
I love your video style and the cinematography, your voice overlay, your scripts, you're doing a really great job. I have 1 singular critique that will I think change your life. Get a vice. Watching you cut those bow ties was painful when I know there is a tool out there that is inexpensive and would change your life forever! Seriously though man, I really do enjoy watching you create and you're doing amazing at it!
Hahaha I couldn’t agree more! I need a vice!!! That was potentially going to be an upcoming video, building a workbench, but I was looking up the vices that other TH-camrs have used and I can’t believe how expensive they are! 👀
@@LateNightWoodworking Irwin makes a "woodworking" vice that is very inexpensive (I believe it's around 25 bucks here at Lowe's), but you can also get a carving/guitar repair vice that can be between 125-200... little more expensive and heavier, but you can mount them to a workbench instead. Then of course there's always the small parts vices that clamp onto your workbench... lots of options and thus the beauty of the craft we love! Whatever you decide, I look forward to watching your iteration! (I found a harbor freight workbench with an integrated vice that was only 150 bucks )
Thanks, I’ll look into it. I really do want to build a workbench myself, just a little intimidating
I think bow-ties are great and look awesome!
Thank you! :)
What’s the old timey ragtime piece around @14:33? It’s fantastic. Amazing video by the way, props all around.
Thank you sir!! I’ll figure it out and get back to you.
it's called tip toeing by Yonatan Riklis!
What grit paper are you using into he glass to flatten sharpening stones?
Also, take a look at Matt Estlea, he has a game changing video on sharpening.
I’ll take a look! I think I used 220 for 800 grit side and 800 for 4000 grit
5k already 😊 NICE. You'll get to 10k no problem
😎 thanks:)
The new blacktail studios line cracked me up! I always love Cam’s responses. Good luck on the 10k subs. I know you’ll get it!
He really is a clever and funny guy, thank you!!
@@LateNightWoodworking thought I recognized that marking knife
Bruh it’s 2:30 am and I come across this video by late night woodworking and say to myself “oh no don’t tempt me”… look where I ended up. This better be good
Oh jeez hahaha I hope you enjoyed it!!! 😁
@@LateNightWoodworkingI did. Great video. Reminds me of videos by Nick Pedulla. Keep up the great work (and please don’t start talking way too much in your videos like some woodworking TH-camrs)
I don’t plan on it! I don’t have that much to say lol I don’t know how they do it

I've been trying to figure out how to get one for this saw... proving to be difficult
I Agree, bowties are features.
🤝
just wanted to let you know the link to your website in the description doesn’t redirect to it
Thank you!!! I’ll fix that when I get a chance
watched the video, have you seen Rob Cosman? if not, watch his sharpening videos. maybe this would help.
I have not! I’ll take a look, thanks
omg why in the hell did you hit the steel body of your plane with a steel hammer? There is a Norris adjustment knob on that plane.
I barely tapped it!! I think it’s easier to use the hammer
I know people have Opinions, but no matter what they say, all that matters at the end of the day is what you think. I love what you make and yes I love boties. Keep up the good work.
I guess in the end opinions are like holes, everyone’s got em…

What's up with the cross? Are you a Black Sabbath fan?
Lmao I do enjoy their music
Looks awesome. Just don't start doing tool reviews hahaha

Great craftsmanship and film making.
But what's so controversial?
The bow ties I guess idk lol
