    Got to visit Tokyo and parts of Japan Freshman year of highschool for the Kizune Trip after the earthquakes and tsunamis. I was very grateful to be able to go on this trip and get to experience the culture and would love to back again after all these years!

    Japan is great and more card payments is accepted when compared to 2019. Just came back from tokyo 2 weeks ago and 80% of the payment were made via card.
    Although I just came back from Tokyo, I already have plan to go back there in Jan 2024, love that place!

    Asia is the most fun, safe and interesting region of the world. Your mind is constantly overloaded with new foods, sights, products, experiences, culture etc. From Tokyo to island hopping in the Philippines, to riding around in a tuk tuk in Bangkok. Such a fun place.

    I am at the moment here in Tokyo snd zI can say it is amazing! Tomorrow is my last day before going to Kyoto, and with my wife will go and watch the Sumo tournament. You should visit it and have a different experience :) Great video as always Brett!

    Akihabara is very lively. And some of the games are unique. Omg I want to go to Dawn cafe, that’s so cool. Wow Peace had to clean their own schools that’s crazy. Yeah I’ve never seen so many vending machines in all my life. I was so impressed when k saw the 7-11 and Lawson’s having hot drinks refrigerator. The immersive areas are insane. Love this video Brett, i need to goodnight back 😎

    Just got back from Japan trip not too long ago. I am surprised how technological advances they are compare to the states. They have working cell signal all underground subway. Here back in state once you on subway you lose all cell signal

    The one thing i would say about Japan, having been here for the past week, is not that the cities are more futuristic, but that they are more efficient than other cities; especially the U.S cities. There isn't many "futuristic" things in Japan. The parts of Japan that distinguish it from other countries are the tradition and culture that you experience.

    Although Japan’s 7-11 has a lot of food, its service items are not the largest in the world!
    Although Japanese people are very diligent, their life pressure is the highest in the world, and their suicide rate is also one of the highest in the world!

      Looks dreamy but it's boring. Only 5 rooms or so to explore the one in Odaiba. Japan is nice for tourists but horrible to live there. Their system is ancient and people are so blind for it because the only thing they see is sushi and weeb stuff.

      Yes, suicide rate is high as 18th in the world after Russia and Hungary out of 172. And the USA is 51st. It isn't low either. 🙄

      Just quick fact check! The suicide rate of Japan ranked 49th in the world, while the US ranked 31st according to WHO statistics in 2019. So technically the Americans seem to get more pressure! (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_suicide_rate) The worst rates of developed countries come from Russia (11th) and South Korea (12th).

    The longest bullet train delay is not 12 seconds lol. I was here in April and the bullet train from Tokyo - Osaka was delayed about 90 minutes...due to someone jumping on the tracks.

      Great idea! It’s an awesome country just be aware of the extremely harsh work culture and high rates of depression especially as a foreigner where you’ll always be an outsider. I sound cynical but honestly it’s good to have all the advanced infrastructure and everything on your doorstep.
