Great to see!! Must be so satisfying for the free keepers... not only having the best equipment to play with but also the results! Keeping grass at 3mm is not for the faint hearted! Keep em coming
We also topdress every other week during the growing season without punching holes, just grooming the green short verticutting basically to remove thatch than the sand also helps take away thatch as well but at the same time this speeds up the green

Well Robbie. What about ye, how's she goin? Question for ya. Out front mower or a traditional ride on mower? I have 3 acres of grass to cut every 2 weeks and am thinking of getting a ride on mower. Donno which type to get but? Hopefully you can help.
Verti-draining greens BUT you're only going 6 inches deep....shame, the full 10 inches deep is always key on greens to remove any compaction as deep as possible throughout the rootzone mix. I will never understand why courses waste time with raising height for winter, these newer cultivars of grass can Handle being short AF throughout winter, its a fact

What sand is used pleased? I assume its a specific due to the salt content?
Hi warren, the sand is double washed. More to reduce lime content than anything
Ideally if ground a bit on the soft side take bucket off loader
I beleive they keep it on for the weight

Golf courses, totally devoid of diversity, an ecological wilderness. Disgusting.
That's not true at all. Lots of spaces are left wild.
