Don't recommend working for this company they disabled my app after a rider lie gave a false statement about me been racist they lie so lyft wouldn't charge them for the 45 minutes ride i drove. The company never called me or asked me about the situation until I was disabled first I have a dash camera for all my rides after I send the videos I never got a response....terrible company. I will not work for them again.
Let's address the biggest problem thanks to a lack of care for drivers from Lyft. I've had many passengers who think that whatever Lyft charges them all goes to the driver. Why doesn't Lyft make the smallest effort & inform passengers that Lyft takes 40% of the fee charged?

I think 2 good things are another gps system like Garmin instead of always using the Lyft gps. I picked up one customer and the Lyft gps said 22 miles to the destination but the Garmin said 15 miles. Also plugging your phone into a usb and using Apple Car play on your dash. Then you can see the Lyft gps right on your dash.

With gas prices so high once again margins will shrink to the point where we're working for free. We're most of the way there already. Lyft is a failing company. They've laid off thousands of staff, and can still barely turn a profit.
Hey people I'm very disappointed on Lyft company the worse crap ever Lyft pay it's not even the minimum wage , I did 185 miles and got payed 86 dollars , you figure it out is it with it ? Hell nooo thief's I rather do door dash it pays me $ 10 for 3 Mile's or so Lyft 3 rides for 9 dollars and you have to drive 15 or 20 miles in order to get that amount wow how generous .bouch of thief's come on people don't settle for less after all it's your vehicle you are wearing and tearing by driving that much to make this company even richer open your eyes don't be deceived. Stand up don't let this companies take advantage of us any longer ..
You're talkin about the wrong stop what you need to tell us how much is people really making I don't even know that you're making enough to pay for the fuel if you pick up someone and take them three miles and you make $6 I've lost money I only get 16 miles per gallon
$2 a mile is the goal for like 99% of the drivers. Get a more fuel efficient vehicle, and stop complaining. You’ll gain no help in the Ride Share community acting like a dick.

No kidding. Margins couldn't be thinner. Gas prices don't need to go that much higher before we're working for free. We're most of the way there.
I'd rather make less but have freedom to turn off my app and go on vacation then be stuck at a 9 to 5 and begging my boss for a week break
