How stable is the case tube when you’re pushing forward to seat the Primer? Since you had issues with length of the tubes and the ceiling. Can you provide a measurement of how much over the top the Dillon Press does the case tube extend? I may have a similar issue and have not seen any disclaimer about needed room above the press will be required, which would be nice to know. Thanks! Any issues that have occurred changing out to other calibers? I am still using the Dillon 550B, haven’t seen a real good reason to convert at the cost of the new frame. however, this device would be nice addition for the progressive reloading on my Dillon. Thanks for any reply with requested information! Nice to see an actual reloader review for the operation. Nicely Done!
The length of case holder is 19 1/2 inches the total length of case feeder including case holder is 33 inches high the case tube has a tab that slides into base holding it solid there is no movement when operating thanks for watching!
I have only ran 9mm but changing calibers is as easy as taking the supplied adapters taking one out and installing correct caliber adapter takes 5 seconds to do this
@@reloader523 Hey, I saw another video with a posting that once in a while a case won’t drop, still functional but a quirk from what I gathered. Have you experienced such? Measured from the extension arm coming off the press to a fixed LED light fixture over my bench and it appears I have 1-2 inches to spare to make it work. Low ceiling in the basement room where i do my reloading. I will have to look at the video’s again to check on how the feeder mounts location etc., then double check my measurements. Much appreciated information you provided! Thanks again!
@Majeskty i haven't had any problems with mine not dropping cases i also have low ceilings in basement i could have mounted press directly to bench to gain 4 inches but decided to go in between ceiling beams
