  • #292: Return to sport testing after ACL reconstruction is important to assure the athlete is prepared to return.
But, sometimes testing just looks at the basics and doesn't get a clear picture of the athlete's functional capabilities.

Had acl hamstring graft surgery and appreciate this info, I’m gonna be very careful not to stress fixtures as the aren’t as strong at btb patell, slow build up and hamstring focus so I have dynamic movement and stability back

@@77hoolie no, but my acl surgery is successful. I am able to play cricket and I'm doing bowling well. No pain on leg. Now acl stability and strength also good.
If you have acl tear, consult your doctor, if doctor suggest surgery then go for surgery. It's worth to do surgery.

@@dhinakaran2814Hi Karan, did you do single bundle hamstring or double bundle? Please let me know your current state of physical strength

@@anujkharat21 I think its single bundle, Hamstring graft, Able to play cricket and good physical work, No pain, Some times in bus or train travel we have to wait and slowly have to start walk (Because the leg slowly should start align)
Overall i have obtained second innings of my sports life with this surgery.
If you have full acl tear then consult your doctor and go for surgery with GMC or other insurance policy.
