Warm weather is finally here for 2024 and so is Carolina Harbor at Carowinds! This place is so much fun. It's absolutely packed with water slides, wave pools, and playgrounds for kids. I was also really excited to see the lazy river functional! Join me on this experience as I give you tips and tricks and tour you around this awesome waterpark near Charlotte, NC.

Is it better to visit in Aug or sept? I know in sept they have kess hours i wonder if the close certain sections too. Also how did you get the food pass?

I would think August would be better. Check the calendar on their website before you go though because I think Carolina Harbor closes the first full weekend of September. Also, I think my wife bought the food plan on their app. Here's a link to purchase it on their website:

You absolutely do not want to move to Florida. Vacationing there is great, but living there is a nightmare.

We spend a really good amount of time down there each year and really like it but I do like it here a lot too. Traffic (I4) is one of my biggest issues with moving down there right now.
