Shin, for $300 you could get a full weekend package for the Las Vegas nascar race in March. I would love to see you cover more events like that and the food offered! Also the on track entertainment for nascar is much greater than what I saw for F1
As a local who lives and works in the area; it's been a nightmare! It's now Saturday before the actual race, my serving shifts have all been cancelled (restaurant is a literal ghosttown cause locals won't come near here and every tourist is close to the track) and the noise pollution from the concert and cars is pretty loud. But I get it, this is Vegas, but this is my least favorite event for sure.

Having lived through Singapore, first year is by far the worst. Next year no road resurfacing, no put building construction, and they have experience in putting all the kit together.

Very accurate food assessment.. we were at the North Bellagio Grandstand and there was not much food. Very bad! We ended up going to East Harmon the next night and it was better.
Its sucks that the first day of the grand prix was a disaster. Some of the foods look okay. Hopefully this race will be worth it for the city but my expectations are low. Glad you had a good time with the short time you had

Dimopoulos Law Firm and co-counsel JK Legal & Consulting filed the suit Friday in Nevada District Court on behalf of 35,000 fans who purchased tickets to Thursday’s practice run, the legal firms announced Saturday. It was a really unfortunate experience for those like me who only purchased Thursday night tickets, but it is what it is. They announced today that LOCALS that went Thursday can get $200 credit for F1 merch. Not sure why only locals, and $200 is 1 shirt or 2 hats. Yeah. $100 for a baseball hat. But at least it's something to remember the disaster.
Maybe locals to keep them happy visitors likely to go more than one day really was only one session lost and late running meant staff had to close track...

Losing 300 sucks but if you could imagine the local businesses and workers who have rent, bills, etc. and have their usual income cut approx 35% bc of all the construction, block offs, and mayhem caused by the bigwigs of the resorts and F1 who eill never compensate them. These workers range from hosputality and restaurant management who depend on their work hours and/or tips. With over 35% of their paychecks cut before the holidays- that sucks! So think of it that way.
Yes, very unfortunate for all involved. I don't think my experience lessens the pain of others who have undergone issues with the event. But if we're going through all this, it would have been nice if the event at least went off without this major of an issue. Thanks for watching!

Living here, I totally agree that the evening was a bit of a let-down. But where I was the food was excellent, and I bought a beautiful racing jacket. I love those type of sports jackets, and I’ll pay the price for a nice one.
One further note. I hope the class action law suit, which was filed by the many thousands of fans, give the fans who paid a lot of money, more than a $200 merchandise credit.

I heard about that practice issue Shin, I mean what a joke you're out of hundreds of dollars 💸 💵 💲 and all they give you is a voucher for the gift shop. SIGH🙁🙁🙁 for me it wasn't a good idea for F1 to show up in Vegas in the first place. All those stands that were built were a logistical nightmare, you even had a worker die and what about the road closures due to the paving that went on, and now it's going to take two months to take all the stands down what a mess 😒😒😒 it wasn't worth it in my opinion just my two cents on the matter we'll catch you on the next video 😊

Ive only been to 1 Wolfgang Puck restaurant and it was in D.C. called Americana right by the Capitol off Pennsylvania Ave. The food & service was beyond great. This F1 thing is a big joke. The people that live in Vegas and the tourists that have visited Vegas in the last few months have been greatly inconvenienced by this nonsense. Roads have been shut down and attractions have been shut down for months all for F1. This has been totally unfair to everyone just so this race could be run. What's more unfair is the fact that everything connected to the race is so expensive. Most of the people that live in Vegas have blue collar jobs and very few can afford the price of a ticket.
It was a huge inconvenience the whole year for sure. I did hear that night 2 went without issue and people enjoyed themselves. Makes me wish I could have gone on Friday instead. If I got the full experience of seeing hours of those cars zooming by and the crowd going nuts, I think I would have really enjoyed it. But I think it was less than 10 minutes of cars total which is what sucked. But they did give me some credit to get some merch so I got a hoodie and a few hats and a fanny pack out of it so I'm not too mad. They tried what they could. I might still go back to see this year. Dude do some research. The $300 price was for Vegas residents only. Regular ticket prices were much much higher. Over $2K!!!! "The newest event on the F1 calendar - taking place this weekend for the first time - has the highest base ticket prices in the history of Formula 1, with general admission tickets around the MSG Sphere on sale for $966, which do not provide a view of the circuit."
I bought my ticket as a resale off of Ticketmaster so I didn't get any kind of Vegas resident deal. I also only bought a single night, not the entire event.

They announced today that LOCALS that went Thursday can get $200 credit for F1 merch. Not sure why only locals, and $200 is 1 shirt or 2 hats. Yeah. $100 for a baseball hat. But at least it's something to remember the disaster.
Maybe locals to keep them happy visitors likely to go more than one day really was only one session lost and late running meant staff had to close track...

Hey how are you, I heard about that cover popping out of the road early in the race and then I cringed I can only imagine the suits that organized and are responsible for everything must have been losing it. You would really think they must have had a track inspection and when the asphalt was going in that that couldn't happen very surprising. Nonetheless good to hear you had some good food there. Losing 300 sucks but if you could imagine the local businesses and workers who have rent, bills, etc. and have their usual income cut approx 35% bc of all the construction, block offs, and mayhem caused by the bigwigs of the resorts and F1 who eill never compensate them. These workers range from hosputality and restaurant management who depend on their work hours and/or tips. With over 35% of their paychecks cut before the holidays- that sucks! So think of it that way.
Yes, very unfortunate for all involved. I don't think my experience lessens the pain of others who have undergone issues with the event. But if we're going through all this, it would have been nice if the event at least went off without this major of an issue. Thanks for watching!

Living here, I totally agree that the evening was a bit of a let-down. But where I was the food was excellent, and I bought a beautiful racing jacket. I love those type of sports jackets, and I’ll pay the price for a nice one.
One further note. I hope the class action law suit, which was filed by the many thousands of fans, give the fans who paid a lot of money, more than a $200 merchandise credit.

I heard about that practice issue Shin, I mean what a joke you're out of hundreds of dollars 💸 💵 💲 and all they give you is a voucher for the gift shop. SIGH🙁🙁🙁 for me it wasn't a good idea for F1 to show up in Vegas in the first place. All those stands that were built were a logistical nightmare, you even had a worker die and what about the road closures due to the paving that went on, and now it's going to take two months to take all the stands down what a mess 😒😒😒 it wasn't worth it in my opinion just my two cents on the matter we'll catch you on the next video 😊

VWS: Excuse my french but that's some fuckery at 8 minutes of F1 GP SMH. But the food looked great & very tasty. Ive only been to 1 Wolfgang Puck restaurant and it was in D.C. called Americana right by the Capitol off Pennsylvania Ave. The food & service was beyond great. I highly recommend a Puck operated restaurant. Happy Thanksgiving VWS.

This F1 thing is a big joke. The people that live in Vegas and the tourists that have visited Vegas in the last few months have been greatly inconvenienced by this nonsense. Roads have been shut down and attractions have been shut down for months all for F1. This has been totally unfair to everyone just so this race could be run. What's more unfair is the fact that everything connected to the race is so expensive. Most of the people that live in Vegas have blue collar jobs and very few can afford the price of a ticket.
It was a huge inconvenience the whole year for sure. I did hear that night 2 went without issue and people enjoyed themselves. Makes me wish I could have gone on Friday instead. I do hope a lot of lessons were learned though because as you say, so many people affected by this event. Thanks for watching!

If I got the full experience of seeing hours of those cars zooming by and the crowd going nuts, I think I would have really enjoyed it. But I think it was less than 10 minutes of cars total which is what sucked. But they did give me some credit to get some merch so I got a hoodie and a few hats and a fanny pack out of it so I'm not too mad. They tried what they could. I might still go back to see this year. Dude do some research. The $300 price was for Vegas residents only. Regular ticket prices were much much higher. Over $2K!!!! I bought my ticket as a resale off of Ticketmaster so I didn't get any kind of Vegas resident deal. I also only bought a single night, not the entire event.
