This was a really good video. Thanks for making and posting it. Hems are a nightmare for me. I can never get them even so this was a particularly interesting video for me. I've just to hem a velvet jumper I sewed and have been dreading that last step. After watching this, I think I'm ready to attack it. Thank you.

I've had hemmed a lot of formal dresses and know that those hems cannot be relied upon to measure a new hem accurately. I was shocked what a bad job the dress industry does with hemming their long dresses.
