The mask represents the feeling Freddie had about putting on a smile on stage even though he was in tremendous pain and he knew he was dying from AIDS but the show had to go on. The genious of the removing the mask as the music delivers that twinkling sound. I have seen comments that she did paint the mask herself and it makes sense because it seems to match the outfit she wore on AGT with Bohemian Rhapsody. Great reaction Mimi, Loved it! Second is the fact that Angelina is dressed in black in memory of Freddie. I think you nailed the rest of it. It was an absolutely spectacular performance!
