It is so good to hear you telling us this. It certainly explains a lot of things. Now you can at least drop the stress of not telling this. You're doing a great job of getting through all the projects. Hang in there, it will be worth it! You must have added so much value to the property. Just remember to take a few breaks here and there, so you can refresh your Spirit (and mind and body). Well done ! Be kind to yourself.💜💙💚💫

It feels good to get this off of my chest finally, and for it to be so well received. Thank you for your words of encouragement. We really appreciate it ❤️

It is good that you figured out you don't want to stay there, so you can get it ready to sell instead of doing stay for life kind of things. I hope you find the place your heart longs for and are able to make the move. I will still enjoy watching you with the animals and seeing the renovations. Blessings.

I understand the energy. We are stuck in a trailer park. I can garden here, but obviously not homestead. We started an application for a USDA loan. But ended up with some salty car repairs and taxes being due (My boss where I worked turned my massage therapy job into my own business, by starting to charge rent, instead of taking a cut). I canceled the application. I didn't start many of the seeds In would have. Because I thought we'd move. The energy where I live keeps me feeling stuck. Best wishes to you, in moving forward.

i dont see this as a matter of 'coming clean.'... the road you chose was never going to be an easy one. i prefer to think you made your devision to homestead based on all the facts and not just a 'lets do this because we can' . i dont feel betrayed. i feel you maybe need to make decisions that are condusive to your health and abilities.
yoy have every thing it takes to make it work!! i send my full encouragement😊

I fully expected you to end this with "we found a property near by and are in the works for a contract!" 😂

I know. How that feels. Do what you need to do, until you can move. That's why I drive so far to work so I could have the land instead of living 10 minutes away from work .

Do you have fence arround your 2 acres? You're explaining well...

I have it partially fenced in on 2 sides. It's only done as a deterrent for our turkeys. They like to wander lol

Look for a amish homestead for sale. Well water, wood hot water, wood cook stove. Most of there homesteads are 10 plus acres. Plus they have a big kitchen for baking bread...

That sounds perfect. Any guesses on where to look to find something like that? We've been looking on Zillow for a while, but haven't seen anything worth even getting excited about

@@storybrookefamilyfarm I'm not sure where you are looking. I am guessing you are a lot further south then I am but Maine is one of the friendliest homesteading states there is. You just have to be able to deal with winter....

@@courtneymeehan504 we are actually located in Ohio. We'd love to visit Maine in the future! It looks to be a gorgeous state!

@@storybrookefamilyfarm Defiantly worth a visit. Ohio is beautiful too. Which some people find funny when I say that but summers there can be so magical.
