My empathy lies with those scientists & engineers who spent their sweat and sleepless nights making Luna. They carry the hopes of a nation which is taking brickbats from the whole western world. Unlike some of my fellow citizens I don’t see Chandrayaan -3 as a number game but as a milestone, a learning lesson towards advancement in space technology. Meanwhile, the USA has a drone flying around Mars plus two rovers on the ground. The Hubble and Web telescopes in space collecting data from the beginning of time. The voyagers 1 and 2 , which are the first man made objects to leave our solar system. The USA does not need to send probes to the Moon, we have already sent actual men there and we will return. The Moon will be a gateway for the USA and our allies to Mars and beyond.

Russians are the one who are the pioneers of space technology. Very sorry that their moon mission failed. My empathy lies with those scientists & engineers who spent their sweat and sleepless nights making Luna. They carry the hopes of a nation which is taking brickbats from the whole western world. It would have been a great morale booster for them had they succeeded. Unlike some of my fellow citizens I don’t see Chandrayaan -3 as a number game but as a milestone, a learning lesson towards advancement in space technology. Russians are our gurus in space science, engineering and industrialisation, A student can never be a happy with his/her teachers failure.
We have our own technology. Duh. But yes, we can say they are our seniors in space exploration and we have learnt a lot from them. Feeling sad for their failure. Let's hope they'll come back stronger. 🤞

Meanwhile, the USA has a drone flying around Mars plus two rovers on the ground. The Hubble and Web telescopes in space collecting data from the beginning of time. The voyagers 1 and 2 , which are the first man made objects to leave our solar system. The USA does not need to send probes to the Moon, we have already sent actual men there and we will return. The Moon will be a gateway for the USA and our allies to Mars and beyond.
This is no reason to demean or criticise the ROSCOSMOS. These missions are tough and i can only imagine the fear and anxiety our indian scientists (also me) must be going through to pull it off successfully.
