The video that exists in between the two is On Stage Prologue, which is a short film more than a music video. If you go and watch that one, find one with on screen English captions as the official version doesn't have them. The reason some of this is confusing, and why you recognize it, is because this is part of the storyline. The end clip with Jimin in the tub burning the photo - you saw this in in the music video for I Need U. But having said that, every song in the storyline does have their own meanings. This one is a huge culmination of YOUTH. The fun, the comradery, the light, the excitement, the rebellion - but juxtaposed with the dark, the torment, the anger, the loneliness, the pain, the trauma. The Chinese symbol was for HYYH - hwa yeon yeong hwa - which means "the time when blossoms bloom" or the beautiful moment in life - youth, young adulthood. For me, I'm with her - the song itself was alright, but it was the music video, combined with the meaning and intention behind the song, that really made it a masterpiece to me.
This was such a throwback! Back when this came out, the fandom was soooo deep in the whole symbolism-search for everything in the BU (Bangtan Universe). The way this reminds me of the theories and cinematic imagery exploration I did when this came out (from I Need U and up until Blood Sweat & Tears).

The loveyourself series teaches us how to love ourselves in the face of fake love and problems, even if we are imperfect, even if we are not complete. If you read the lyrics of whole albums you understand how each song is teaching us to love ourselves in every conditions. it's telling us how beautiful and precious human we are in each and every songs in different ways and different vibes. And finally, in the Map of the Soul albums, the boys got to know themselves better and tried to love themselves consciously. And BE album made for the pandemic and difficult conditions of society. So you can see each album describes the mental state of boys at the age they are, and it is true that BTS music grew with them and has reached this point so far.

It is pretty deep and complicated, but basic storyline is that 7 boys (BTS members) all have some kind of "issues" (jhope is an orphan, suga lost his mom in fire accident, RM lives in poverty, JK has abusive step brothers/dad, Jimin suffered childhood trauma, V has alcoholic/abusive dad, Jin is from rich fam but his dad is manipulative and controlling). They meet in highschool and become best friends. But something happens and they all separate. Jin goes to the states and comes back years later to find out bad things happened to his friends and he tries to save them by rewinding time and tries different things to change the future. Everytime he does that, he sacrifices his memories. This storyline is STILL ONGOING and we are expecting to see more in their future songs/mvs (their new song Film Out teaser that dropped yesterday is throwing out hints that it could be the continuation of the storyline!). You guys should react to the BU storyline. Every member has a separate storyline and back story in that, which is a foundation for most of their MVs, especially their wings short films. No one knows for sure what exactly is happening, but there are a lot of theory videos that might give you an idea of what's happening.

It’s an ongoing storyline that was even still going on when Map of The Soul came out. Worth delving in to but be prepared to be driven insane trying to figure out what everything means. There are many BTS songs that I didnt like on first listen, but grew to be my ultimate faves after many more listens and watching more content such as dance practices, behind-the-scenes and live performances. Run is one of those songs for me. Theres something magical about BTS performing a song live. They literally bring a song to life, and makes you appreciate that song even more.
It's a part of the story line of BU! The HYYH and Wings are just about the story line, we got theyories, a lottt of them! You definitely should check them from the beginning! Starting with I need you, which you did, and that's why you remember Jimin's scene!

This video is a part of the BTS universe storyline, kinda connected to I need you. Also the ending is not the behind the scenes, its basically the video's from the camera rolls from the characters in the storyline if that makes sense. The BTS storyline goes really really deep and apart from music videos, it's shown through highlight reels, onstage prologue, concert VCRs, the notes (written things that come along with albums), a webtoon and even a game released by them. All of these giving us bits and pieces of the story. Also, this storyline is very confusing so take your time getting into it

Another Reactor I watch started watching the videos of the BU (BangTan Universe) in order and he asked ARMY for No Spoilers for the future videos, but to let him know what he missed in the previous videos. He wanted to try to figure things out by himself first, like most ARMY had to do, but he didn't want to miss anything important. Just an FYI... the BU has a lot of videos in it. You'll probably need to watch it a few times too. Once just to enjoy the video. Again to read the lyrics. At least one more time, or more, to look for clues within the video and/or lyrics. The car in the tunnel was their manager's. And BigHit producers didn't like the sound of Run, but BTS composed and produced it themselves, and fought to keep it on the album. So glad they did. The reason some of this is confusing, and why you recognize it, is because this is part of the storyline. The end clip with Jimin in the tub burning the photo - you saw this in in the music video for I Need U. But having said that, every song in the storyline does have their own meanings. This one is a huge culmination of YOUTH. The fun, the comradery, the light, the excitement, the rebellion - but juxtaposed with the dark, the torment, the anger, the loneliness, the pain, the trauma. The Chinese symbol was for HYYH - hwa yeon yeong hwa - which means "the time when blossoms bloom" or the beautiful moment in life - youth, young adulthood. For me, I'm with her - the song itself was alright, but it was the music video, combined with the meaning and intention behind the song, that really made it a masterpiece to me.
This was such a throwback! Back when this came out, the fandom was soooo deep in the whole symbolism-search for everything in the BU (Bangtan Universe). The way this reminds me of the theories and cinematic imagery exploration I did when this came out (from I Need U and up until Blood Sweat & Tears).

This is part of BU (Bangtan Universe) which is the fictional storyline that runs through many of their MVs. They even have a webtoon series on it called Save Me and actual BOOK (Notes 1 and Notes 2). It is pretty deep and complicated, but basic storyline is that 7 boys (BTS members) all have some kind of "issues" (jhope is an orphan, suga lost his mom in fire accident, RM lives in poverty, JK has abusive step brothers/dad, Jimin suffered childhood trauma, V has alcoholic/abusive dad, Jin is from rich fam but his dad is manipulative and controlling). They meet in highschool and become best friends. But something happens and they all separate. Jin goes to the states and comes back years later to find out bad things happened to his friends and he tries to save them by rewinding time and tries different things to change the future. Everytime he does that, he sacrifices his memories. This storyline is STILL ONGOING and we are expecting to see more in their future songs/mvs (their new song Film Out teaser that dropped yesterday is throwing out hints that it could be the continuation of the storyline!). You guys should react to the BU storyline. Every member has a separate storyline and back story in that, which is a foundation for most of their MVs, especially their wings short films.
No one knows for sure what exactly is happening, but there are a lot of theory videos that might give you an idea of what's happening.

This forms part of the Bangtan Universe so a lot happens that is hard to understand without watching the MV’s before. It’s an ongoing storyline that was even still going on when Map of The Soul came out. Worth delving in to but be prepared to be driven insane trying to figure out what everything means. Once you have followed it, there is a video that explains everything. The Bangtan Universe encompasses music videos, webtoons, story books and an online game. It’s full on, but to be a hardcore ARMY, we all fall into it.

So, This is how I found BTS myself some 6 years ago! I fell in love with the storyline and it intrigued and confused me so much I was in the hole before I even realized! The story concepts are at a whole other level!! We’re talking things like time travel, love, abandonment, depression, loneliness, anxiety, subside, possible murder, etc,.... There are so many views to interpret them but still beautifully depicted! Their whole team is just phenomenal!! Of course the boys themselves are super talented!! 💜💜💜 They seriously showed some acting talent in this MVs!!

You’ve probably noticed for some of their MVs that the visuals don’t match up with the lyrics: that’s because the music videos are all part of a pretty heartbreaking storyline. You should watch “bts storyline explained”! Its pretty accurate and takes you through all of it ... it’s an intricate one and will have you tearing up so be prepared! Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know there is a wealth of talent out there and I find them eventually. HOWEVER! BTS is something special. Maybe because we've seen them at their youngest and get to watch them mature. It's what a really good group of artists' do, right?!? The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel (especially Garfunkel), even Lady Gaga. They entertain as they learn and grow up. Their performance changes constantly, but not their innate talent.

I am not sure of what the true meaning is but it may be interpreted as losing someone to suicide (that's my niece's theory). The lyrics are heartbreaking but listen to it if you can. This video is a part of the BTS universe storyline, kinda connected to I need you. Also the ending is not the behind the scenes, its basically the video's from the camera rolls from the characters in the storyline if that makes sense. The BTS storyline goes really really deep and apart from music videos, it's shown through highlight reels, onstage prologue, concert VCRs, the notes (written things that come along with albums), a webtoon and even a game released by them. All of these giving us bits and pieces of the story. Also, this storyline is very confusing so take your time getting into it

Another Reactor I watch started watching the videos of the BU (BangTan Universe) in order and he asked ARMY for No Spoilers for the future videos, but to let him know what he missed in the previous videos. He wanted to try to figure things out by himself first, like most ARMY had to do, but he didn't want to miss anything important.
Just an FYI... the BU has a lot of videos in it. You'll probably need to watch it a few times too. Once just to enjoy the video. Again to read the lyrics. At least one more time, or more, to look for clues within the video and/or lyrics. The lyrics don't always match the video message.
Some people just give up and watch the BU Explained by xCelest or others.

This video is part of the BTS universe. The bathroom that Jimin is pushed into, is the same tub that he was burning the paper in. I would really love for you guys to do a video on your theory about the storyline portrayed in the videos. On a side note, this was pretty early on in their career, and money was tight. The car in the tunnel was their manager's. And BigHit producers didn't like the sound of Run, but BTS composed and produced it themselves, and fought to keep it on the album. So glad they did.
