Yeah, most men don’t give a “boy band” a chance. BTS is so much more than a boy band with them writing and producing so much of their music but unfortunately they fall under that category. Once one see a mv or a concert video, into the rabbit hole they go
They are definitely more than a boy band. I've never seen a more hard working band. Their dancing and singing is so amazing.

bts is def. in a league of their own but even with typical 'boy bands' i think a lot of guys would enjoy them (and girl groups too) they just don't give them a chance because they think they just cater to females
just because it's an all-male group doesn't mean that's the case at all
most people don't look at groups/bands that play instruments that way and usually they have all males/one female or all females/one male
like no one looks at my chemical romance (an all-male band) and brushes them off so why do people do it to people who mainly sing?
i like when people give everything a fair chance even the stereotypical 'boy band'
it's funny though because i find most reactors to bts on youtube ARE male completely breaking that stereotype and i love that men are listening and appreciating bts and looking beyond the stereotype
Its just snobbery. But also a lot of "boy bands" really just cater to female fans rather than just creating music anyone can relate to.

Right? I got a ticket in 2018 just by pure luck, it was like hunger games. I wasn't able to get a ticket for any of the other concerts later on, although I really tried.

Don't feel like you have been under a rock, people find BTS when they are meant to find them! I have only known them for about 2 yrs, wish I would have e found them sooner, but I definitely found them when I needed them. Have fun falling down the rabbit hole!😉😁
I really think it's fun watching people react to their music from their debut to today. That is the best way to really see how these guys have grown and matured not only in life but in their music too!

Thank you for helping break the "boyband" stereotype to other people! You should also show him their other songs!! I think Mic Drop would be lit! They used to train for 15 hours a day! Jimin even said that at one point he wanted to live in the practice room because he needs to practice

Speaking of Itaewon Class, did you ever notice that V from BTS sings an OST (original sound track) for ITAEWON Class? It’s called Sweet Night and it’s the same same as the name of as the bar. It came out towards the end. You should’ve been able to hear his ocean deep soulful voice.
You guys mentioned that you watched Itaewon Class. Did you know that one of the OSTs of that drama was sung and written by Taehyung(V)? You should check out “Sweet Night”😁
