Sitting at the 11 spot in 12-man PPR. 2rb2wr1flx. In mock drafts, I’ve been taking G Wilson at that 1.11(if he’s there) and then taking which ever of these 2nd tier guys is available at the 2.02. Is that the right play? I feel way more confident about the “left over” RB at the 2.02 than the tier drop off of WRs at that spot (sometimes it’s as far down as Drake London)
I prefer to double dip at RB, hoping to snag 2 of taylor, saquon, or Gibbs. That way I have 2 elite RBs and I can focus on WR in the later rounds, picking up a Mike Evans, DK, Nico, etc as my core WRs.
@@jace3254 I don’t mind the double RB hero build either. The problem I tend to run into is my confidence in being able to catch up on the WRs in round 3-7. Okay so I have a question, In my 10 team fantasy league I’m drafting at the 9 spot. I know in fantasy you shouldn’t reach too much on players, but what if you reallllly like a player and it’s just someone you really want on your team? My example is I’ve always been a die hard D. Henry fan, is it too much of a reach to take him at 1-2 turn or should I wait until the third and risk him not being there? We also have a 3rd round reversal so there is definitely a better chance at getting him in the third since it starts back at the 10 guy. Just any thoughts on reaching for players if they are must haves for your team if you really believe in them and it’s somewhat of a realistic reach. Or, do you completely take out team/personal bias. Thank you.
Don’t forget fantasy should be fun. If you really like a player for what ever reason and you don’t think he will be there at the turn, just take him. Just be smart about it too. Ex) you can love Henry all you want, you can’t take him #1 overall if you’re trying to form a winning strategy, value of the pick matters. Henry late first-early second is totally fine even if it means you take him over 2-3 other higher projected running backs.
It's your team pick who you want to root for. You'll win with your late picks that hit and free agency. No one wins in the first 4 rounds (though you can lose lol)
How would you feel about taking Pacheco at 14? I've got the 11th pick and I want to start with 2 RBs, so probably Taylor and Pacheco. Also considering Henry and Achane. The 11th pick is really rough so I'm gonna play boom or bust
That C tier is looking rough! Hard to see any decent upside in any of the 10 guys there. Only way to get decent value is if other RBs on their team get injured. This is why i truly believe drafting a top 6 RB in the first round is necessary. Otherwise you'll have to heavily rely on ur receiver's.
