I LOVE all the fun Galaxy's Edge props that you and Smugglers Room do! One of my favorite things is to look for all the hidden details that you can spot in the land, such as this prop. Making the place feel lived in is such an important aspect of anything Star Wars, and I feel like they did a great job with Galaxy's Edge. And in turn, this is a fantastic build! Keep the "greeblies" of Galaxy's Edge world building coming!
What a cool prop. I love the inspiration Galaxies Edge provides. So much Swarzy goodness.
That canister looks amazing. Well done
Thanks so much! I appreciate it.
Yep, damn awesome job bro!
Appreciate it!
Looks really good. Would make a good coffee ground or sugar container
Came out great. 😎👍
Bamm! Beautiful! That came out great!
Thanks so much!
You are such a talented artist!!! Love watching you create, thank you! Hope you have a healthy and happy holiday 🧡🖤🧡
I appreciate you watching! Hope you have a great holiday too!
Suggestion if you wish to add some additional aging. The spots where you scuffed down to bare metal, you could dampen the metal with some bleach to make it rust.
Man, I love this build! Well done.
Thank you, my friend!
Always great to
2:27 "1-2-3 blocks". Are those 3-2-1 blocks from a mirror universe?
Haha. I’ve only ever heard them called 1-2-3 blocks.
@@VanOaksProps This was Dalek humour.
🤣
Great job!!!!
Thank you!
Love it!
Thanks! I appreciate it.
Awesome Derek! I've wanted to make one of these for a while. That mini HVLP gun looks interesting, what size compressor are you using with it?
Just a small pancake compressor. It's super low PSI for shooting the metallic paint so it doesn't take much.
@VanOaksProps great, thanks!!!!
You have to use a lazer jet printer to print the images on the fabric using a spray adhesive. Make sure when using a Lazer jet printer that is front loading and not a printer that flips the paper in side the printer. Otherwise, it will get stuck.
What images?
@VanOaksProps April to December and the Medusa to Gorgen.
@VanOaksProps Scrim material is what Disney uses for the grave yard and the changing portraits
@VanOaksProps The material is solid until you shine light through it and it becomes transparent. This is how Disney achieves the effect of April to December. The picture of the December portrait is printed as a picture on paper. The April portrait is printed on scrim material. The led lights in the back behind the December portrait slowly come on, causing the April portrait printed on Scrim material to become transparent, revealing the December portrait giving the aging illusion. It works! It's pretty close to how Disney does it if not right on the money. You have to purchase a good lazer jet printer and the right chemicals to soak the scrim material in so the ink will stay on the fabric and won't run after printed.Give it a shot. It would be cool to see.
@@roycenedeleff1893 ahh. For some reason your comment is on a different video.
I see a link to the model in the shop but it isn't there. Will you be putting it up?
