Reese made a bs victim status post right before the news broke that Spoon was fired. It was preemptive so people would look bad if they pointed out the truth, that she knows is true. AR IS the reason for the downfall of her coach and team, who sacrificed their success to give AR success. And she quits on the team and rides off into the sunset with her clout and sponsors and deals, fame, podcast. It's obvious AR effect, everyone got sacrificed for her to succeed. Reese didn't have to do anything but let them play Themselves. While she only cares about Angel, Angel, Angel, and Angel.

I would bet after the next season ie. 2025 - assuming AR is still with the Sky - that the SKY will implode again. Yay, the future GOAT, Caitlin Clark, officially won Rookie of the Year yesterday. There was never a doubt. No surprise the toxic and delusional Sky World doubted her. Give that girl and Fever respect next season or we will come at you twice as hard.

I will give that Reese can rebound well and run right well for a big, but that's about all. That said, I will never understand her being prioritized over Cardoso, Mabre, and Carter. I can only assume that somebody wanted to hype Reese to win Rookie of the Year over Clark, and didn't care about their team and its other player's fortunes of the game, or individual careers, and it was probably not just Weatherspoon. Speaks volumes about team culture.
Reese wants Swoopes because she will treat her like Tspoon did. All about Angel.
Weatherspoon was in way over her head in dealing with a Rodman like player like Reese (and I do not mean the rebounding). And Carter is as big a headcase that needs constant attention. The circus type attention Reese was getting spiraled into a double double distraction that the coach fed into - Mabrey (their best shooter) gone and Carter spins out of control. Weatherspoon never took control of these players and chose instead to let them spin widely. Really sad.
Weatherspoon was not given a chance to succeed. Saddled with a Reese, Carter... who had their own to agendas(with someone's blessing) and a team that was just getting to know each others moves. It takes four - five games to get in sync. I think she was a sacrificial lamb, plotted against by some of her team members.

Weatherspoon failed to rein in Angel Reese's drama over CC, especially when Reese was celebrating CC being blindsided by a teammate. She also failed to build a good solid team that did not rely totally on Angel Reese. She will never be the key to the teams success. She failed to mold the team into a competitor. That's why she was fired. Now, go out and hire someone that's objective enough to manage the ego's on this team. As for the WNBA, the NBA needs to intervene and conduct an attitude adjustment campaign before they destroy this historic opportunity. Peace.

Allowing a young inexperienced player with mental issues run the show was a recipe for disaster. Her mistake was thinking that the race card made her above accountability. Weatherspoon and Christie Sides appeared to be in competition to be the worst coach in the league.

Weatherspoon deserved firing. She sacrificed the team so that a favorite player could pad her stats. She would do that even during hopeless games. If she wasn't doing it on purpose then she did not have the intelligence to coach a professional team. Angel might have taken an injury during one of those games and it would have been Weatherspoons fault.

Hard to imagine the Sky rising, even with a stricter coach, as long as Reese is considered a centerpiece. She may be a tenacious rebounder, but she is a terrible shooter with no ability (or instinct) to see open teammates. Along with Carter and Weatherspoon, Angel represented the toxicity of this team. Much has been made about Reese's standing ovation for Chennedy's blindside bodycheck of Caitlin Clark, but watch the video again. Watch Weatherspoon fist-pumping Carter's actions. Enough evidence right there to let T-spoon go.

They were in the playoffs last year, added two top 10 picks and one of the best free agent pick up and not only missed the playoffs they got significantly worse. All that and everyone can see the team culture was a mess. This had to happen.

Cordoso was injured the first part of the season. She missed like 5 games. And they had to ease her in so she wouldn’t injure herself again. It’s like yall don’t watch the games. Yall just talk and hate on Angel because it’s the thing to do.

Just a helpful tip. Most of the channels that I've watched long term, have never asked me to "Like, subscribe and share" EVER! I think a couple of them may have at the end of the video but most don't even do it at all. The content speaks for itself and if people like it and want more they hit the button. Why would I like or subscribe before I've seen the video?
I’m no insider but I followed the Sky because I followed the Fever and saw them as their biggest rivals. Yet all these things you mention I saw them from a fans perspective and yet it seems no one else saw this. The screaming antics following a late season loss only solidified my impression that she had lost the team at the expense of trying to make Reese the focal point of all things Sky. I do hope that your view that Reese is in any way making calls for the team wrong. I hope they bring someone who will make everyone’s roll in the team concept crystal clear, Angel is in my opinion a key role player but not the focal point of the offensive part.
