Looks great, I would have liked to see the opening of the tool. I'm always more afraid of not being able to rebuild then to repair the pcb.

I already have two cases in which I show in the video how they do not work and show in detail when opening different tools (Parkside and Makita) Which cannot be repaired! But it's taking me a long time. (I haven't posted that footage yet anyway). And so I decided to try this one without taking a video beforehand. And that's why it is.

Excellent work! Did you remove the old potting for the electronics, and if so, how?
Does the rotor just slide in? I thought you'd need to slide it in before closing the shells so that the bearing is seated properly.

There was a plastic cover under the electronic potting and that make my work easier, but even without the plastic cover you could scrape gently and it's not sticky.

With what did you fill the controller up? I am having the same problem with my hilti angle grinder and i will be attempting to fix it myself and i need to know what to fill the controller with. Btw this video is a blessing for me, a service told me 200 euro for a repair. I will be buying a soldering station soon so i think i will save some money on the repair, and get to know how to repair such things.

Pra que todo esse circuito numa esmerilhadeira? Que loucura!
Tenho uma Einhell que deu problema essa semana, só tinha esse circuito a mais nela de resto era um micro switch... cortei fora o circuito e liguei direto na bateria, pronto é só usar.
No soprador da Einhell de folhas (que não sopra folhas) queimou um circuito de velocidade (1 e 2) também liguei direto.
