I enjoyed this video for several reasons; 1) I've owned two Mercedes - Benz' (1989 300 SEL & 1993 400 SEL) and this car and it's extra-clean condition with the low miles caught my eye. 2) The video showed many details inside, outside, underneath and through and through. 3) The presentation of this video was produced in a professional yet personable manner, therefor making it easy to watch & listen. 4) I'm partial to Florida having lived on the SE coast when a child and I still have family & friends all over there. ;)

The condition is fantastic. In Britain, they would be open to the elements of the British weather, salt on the roads etc. I like the beige and light brown colour. Again, the rear bumpers look so different from the U.K. versions.

Excellent review. This SEL is from a bygone era when Mercedes built solid high quality cars. Long before the gimmickry of today's cars set it. I drove many SELs while working as a valet during my college days and no car can match it. Not then, not now.

described that he parked on a snowy lawn turned the wheel to the left and
started to drive around in circles and the tail did not slide out nor did the grass lawn get spoiled either due to a ( hervorragend ASR-Anti Schlupf Regelung )perfect anti-spinn function.I guess 420 SEL was not introduced until modelyear 1987 in Sweden. I am not sure about the tech stuff in English but due to excessive reading in DAZ and AMS🇩🇪auflage I am better at german abbreviations like ESSD mit schiebe- hebefunktion

It means there are variances in the thickness. Quite normal as cars get detailed and polished over three decades. Polishing literally takes some of the surface and thus thickness off..
it shows this car has all original paint and this is very hard to find on a classic car like this!

My father had that same car. Unfortunately, a tree fell on top of it due to a heavy storm. Crushed the whole top!!! Yeah, that car is not meant for quick acceleration as you were doing. The power is felt more on the highway. It feels heavy to drive with an awesome suspension. Feels really solid like driving a boat.
