@@vuyilemdladla4576 I agree, but it's better than nothing. What I think is wrong is that everyone, when it comes to Jon Jones, says that he would win because Poatan doesn't know how to wrestle, as if MMA was just wrestling.
My two cents: The obvious things are his bone density, rapid firing neurons, confidence, incredible power and high level skill set. The part that's harder to define is the Magic aspect. He has a powerful aura, he seems to be directly plugged into the universe and thus things tend to work out for him. It has to do with one's frequency that is accumulated over a lifetime, or possibly multiple lifetimes. Solid human. I struggle to make the same argument for Jon, I think in his case it is raw talent, a mean attitude, great utilization of his reach advantage, strength and whatever he was taking.
The Magic aspect that both has in common is a harder mentality over the others... For Jon... he would make everything necessary to guarantee the victory... for example the oblique kicks... the drugs... the psycho one... Jon "Bones" Jones... For Pereira is his calm over the pressure... many crumbles... but he stays calm and he is precise... with his hooks... and counter punches... You will see that in many high level competitions... most of the guys are in the same level... but the one that has a harder mentality over the pressure and adversities... eventually wins more often than not...
@@brenosantos4756 This is a solid point. I honestly believe in magic though, I can feel it in the world myself. I think this is a good argument for how it can present itself and how certain humans can access it more practically due to their inherent characteristics and the energy they put in. Possibly even a showcase of how it can be a constructive as well as destructive force, depending on our intention and application. Alex pulled himself out of a hole, Jones throws himself into every ditch he can find.
@@Ishbikes Hehe seems he was, partially, but it's not black magic if he's doing it to reach his destiny and better his life and the lives of those closest to him. Black magic is when you practice it solely with selfish intention, with disregard for others. If that was the case with Alex, he wouldn't have been so quick to try and help Jiri up after the KO. He's a good dude. People say he is so hard to read, but to me it seems like he's smiling all the time, he just does it with his energy, not his mouth. We all practice magic everyday through speaking. One part of what magic is, is just cymatic frequency (sounds) plus intention. Prayer is magic too. Saying bless you when someone sneezes or wishing someone a happy birthday... This is why it's called spelling, when we teach kids what "sounds" look like when written down.

What's ypur point exaactly ? You have never seen Jon Jones beat wrestler ? Jones is 37 and has been fighting since 21. He has earned the right to call shots. And he can retire right now if he wants. Not in a million years are you or anyone in a position to give him a way out
Yeah, you’re probably 18 years old or younger. The difference between John Jones and every other guy is John Jones is gonna go in there and wrestle him to death and choke him out. He doesn’t need to strike with him.😂
Ok, you will talk more about the subject. But, if there is Poatan vs JJ, it will be in the heavyweight division. I will elaborate further later, but I firmly believe in the Brazilian's victory, for two main reasons, which bring other consequences: 1) JJ, who fights with his front leg planted, has already been kicked in the calf 'à la Poatan'?; 2) The Brazilian's fighting distance is greater than any other opponent JJ has ever fought. And for now, I will just stick with these two observations.
Fair enough. I do respond with these two things. JJ has arguably a better lower kick than Poatan. That oblique kick that hyper extends the opponents dominant leg. Very interesting to see that. JJ has fought opponents with that type of distance control. Both shorter and tall opponents. 3. I'm a big AP fan. I'm also a fan of JJ.
My personal take is that I don't want them to fight each other. I'd like them both to retire after one last easy fight. I hate watching fighters I love getting hurt but I also love to see the competition. It's tough lol
@@xamedix Ok. I honestly think this fight will never happen. If there is no injury to either, JJ will probably fight Miocic and then end his career. Best regards.
@@xamedix Ok. Let's analyze it coldly, without any major passions. Let's think about JJ in his best times at 93kg, where he had super balanced battles with Gustafsson, Rees and Marreta. There are those who assert that he may have lost those fights, notably against Rees. Let's be honest: Poatan is infinitely better than any of the 3. This is information that should be brought up. Look, it's not that it won't be a tough fight, but Poatan is a fighter who sets new standards in contemporary MMA, another understanding of striking, impossible to be beaten by a JJ without fighting rhythm and out of his physical peak, at least in my view. Best regards.

Too many people are underestimating Alex's wrestling and grappling ability. There's a high chance Alex completely shuts out Jon's lights. If Jon gets Alex down, he's gonna have a tough time working through Alex's grappling defense
Pereira’s anti-grappling is very effective, I think Jones would have a very hard time trying to submit Pereira. And if he can’t, every round starts on the feet where Pereira is better than anyone.
You bumped your head. Izzy has a ko over Alex. Jon jones has beat all the top guys. He never fight a scrub. And this fight will only happen at HW. Alex would get finished in a similar fashion to Gane. Jones is a top tier striker and top tier wrestler. Do you think Izzy could ko jones the way Izzy ko’d Alex?
I think there’s a good chance Pereira KOs Jones at LHW or HW too. Only reason Pereira got KO’d so easily by Izzy is because he was cutting far too much weight and his chin was compromised imo. Now if someone knocks him out at 205 or HW, they’re doing something significant!
@rickylee2477 Jones got rocked by Machida, lost to Reyes, and had a hard time against Gustafson, Stipe and DC. If he don't throw Alex to the ground immediately like Blachowitz, he'll be KO'd. Izzy is a joke, overrated as hell. Zero wrestling, way worse than Poatan.

I think he could beat Jon. Alex has improved so dramatically since he entered mma, and continues to get better. With his frame and strength, he might frustrate Jon's takedowns and sub attempts.

If Jon can make it down to 205, and capture that belt against Alex, it would be crazy! But Alex moving up to HW against Jon is a horrible idea. He will have a small chance to win, but the odds are that Jon takes him down, wrestle Fs him and likely submitting in the first or second. Jon may be able to do the same at 205, but he certainly can at this larger frame. Anything but Tom Aspinall for Jon would be disappointing (assuming both make it past their next opponent). Perrera has 4x the professional fight experience as his UFC opponents and is used to fighting world-class kickboxers who were stand-up specialists. His cardio is amazing because he's so relaxed. To him, he's basically fighting sparring partners when he's fighting UFC competitors.
I don't think there is a Man out there alive that Alex Perria Can't knock out. Maybe Jon Jones ?
Exactly! People think that mma is only wrestling. And now he is a BJJ black belt.
A first degree BJJ black belt isn't much of an achievement in the UFC
@@vuyilemdladla4576 I agree, but it's better than nothing. What I think is wrong is that everyone, when it comes to Jon Jones, says that he would win because Poatan doesn't know how to wrestle, as if MMA was just wrestling.
Pereira*
My two cents: The obvious things are his bone density, rapid firing neurons, confidence, incredible power and high level skill set. The part that's harder to define is the Magic aspect. He has a powerful aura, he seems to be directly plugged into the universe and thus things tend to work out for him. It has to do with one's frequency that is accumulated over a lifetime, or possibly multiple lifetimes. Solid human.
I struggle to make the same argument for Jon, I think in his case it is raw talent, a mean attitude, great utilization of his reach advantage, strength and whatever he was taking.
word
The Magic aspect that both has in common is a harder mentality over the others...
For Jon... he would make everything necessary to guarantee the victory... for example the oblique kicks... the drugs... the psycho one... Jon "Bones" Jones...
For Pereira is his calm over the pressure... many crumbles... but he stays calm and he is precise... with his hooks... and counter punches...
You will see that in many high level competitions... most of the guys are in the same level... but the one that has a harder mentality over the pressure and adversities... eventually wins more often than not...
Jiri was right! Alex is cheating with his black majik 🤷🏾♂️

Jon is holding up the HW Division
If he wasn't in it, it would have 0 superstars
He's fought once in the division.. so really, HW doesn't have any superstars
Ok, you will talk more about the subject.
But, if there is Poatan vs JJ, it will be in the heavyweight division.
I will elaborate further later, but I firmly believe in the Brazilian's victory, for two main reasons, which bring other consequences:
1) JJ, who fights with his front leg planted, has already been kicked in the calf 'à la Poatan'?;
2) The Brazilian's fighting distance is greater than any other opponent JJ has ever fought.

Pereira’s anti-grappling is very effective, I think Jones would have a very hard time trying to submit Pereira. And if he can’t, every round starts on the feet where Pereira is better than anyone.

Herschel Walker - bobsled
If Jon can make it down to 205, and capture that belt against Alex, it would be crazy! But Alex moving up to HW against Jon is a horrible idea. He will have a small chance to win, but the odds are that Jon takes him down, wrestle Fs him and likely submitting in the first or second. Jon may be able to do the same at 205, but he certainly can at this larger frame.
Anything but Tom Aspinall for Jon would be disappointing (assuming both make it past their next opponent).
It would be fun to see Israel make a move up to 205 and win again.
His frame is bigger than Jon, he is taller than Jon.
@@gamma4053 I think they’re both 6’4” and Jon has the longer reach. Still, if it stays standing, I can see Alex making it a good show. But Jon will press forward and take him down. He’ll be 15 pounds larger than Alex (minimum) and has superior wrestling. There’s a reason the odds makers have Jon as a -800 favorite against Alex.
