I love Phillips 'Dead Man Humor' in this episode. He and Olivia had the best lines ..Phillip looking good dead in the living room chair and Olivia dancing at his funeral. They're funny and sad. When Phillip tries the humor with Natalia (making dead guy t-shirts) she's horrified (thinking she offended him)and tries to bolt. Even his heart to heart talk with her starts with humor.. "This may not be my place to say this, but dying does have it's perks.." Sometimes these writers nail it.
Totally agree and i've watched my number of soaps through the years...That was some great acting! I'm also a little biased when it comes to stage actors ;) and i know Orlagh has been nominated for a Drama Desk award. She had her acting chops on display today!
I also think that the scene with Grant Aleksander and Jessica Leccia was excellent. I think Phillip was trying to say to Natalia: "Thanks for giving Olivia The Family that I was never able to give her, and thanks for making Emma happier than any of my other children"
Love how they play clean slate for doris & ashleys scene just like when olivia was confessing to natalia perrrrfect! good times. todays about opening up and sharing......wanna share my sandwich, LOL
The Doris/Ashley scene was very poignant--heartfelt. Although,it saddens me that with this series coming to an end so soon too many storylines have to be resolved in too short a time. It would've been nice if Doris's coming out story played out over a longer time frame. How does the fact that she is a lesbian effects Doris's life--her relationships,not just with her daughter,but with others? How does it effect her political career? ETC...ETC...ETC.
okay first off I hate that Blake and Buzz keep putting the Frank and Natalia having a baby into Olivia and Natalia's face. second I just want to say that I love what Phillip said to Natalia about not letting Olivia push her away.

I normally love Blake but she annoyed me, trying to regulate Natalia's business like that. If you want Frank just take him Blake! You're not gonna get a fight for him.
Blake knew Frank way before Olivia & Natalia came to town. Also, knowing how devious she was when she was Married to Alan Michael and her issues with Eleni, it's no surprise she wants to see him happy. Keep in mind that Frank Dicopoulos (Frank) worked with all Four Blakes so that must have been surreal at times. Also remember Blake and Harley went from being Enemies to Besties.
Although it was a bit bold of Blake to talk to Natalia about Frank, I guess she was thinking that if her parents were more "stabilized", she would have had a better childhood and better relationships with her Husbands.
Yes, Rafe is Gus Aitoro's Son, and Emma is Phillip Spaulding's Son. Since Gus is a Spaulding by Birth and Phillip is Adopted (Not that it makes a difference), but they are cousins.
You know what would be very nice, even though it's too late. Have Fletcher Reade be Ashlee's "Father". He lost his daughter Rebekah in Beirut, Meg's Grown Up, Ben's Dead so maybe Ashlee could make up for that.

I see a Coca Cola Can. Were they able to use Coca Cola even though it's not one of their Sponsors. I told UK Soap Fans about how alot of Soaps were owned by Proctor & Gamble and they were surprised.

Frank has stepped up to be a father in and offered support to the relationship between Liv and Nat. I think he deserves not to be hated on so much.
