@@brillengineering7889 Thank you so much for getting back with me! Are the Stoltz rollers necessary or can it be done with something else? I am just wondering how to go about finding the videos that would show how to put it together... but if that part isn't available... it may be a lost cause?
@@theozarksjourneytoself-suf5420 I think you could subscribe to my channel and see the numerous videos I’ve made. One video shows how I glued polyurethane to wooden rollers.
the metal I tried didn't work and upon further reading the consensus was that there isn't enough resistance on the surface for the husk to interact with for efficient de hulling,
If this device can hull canary seed (Phalaris canariensis) and hulled barley (Hordeum vulgare), could it possibly be able to dehull maygrass (Phalaris caroliniana) and little barley (Hordeum pusillum)?
Do you still have instructions? I tried pulling up the website but it looks like it's no longer up and running.
I shut down the website. There are videos showing how to build one. The Stoltz polyurethane rollers are no longer manufactured.

@@brillengineering7889 Thank you! I didn't realize you were speaking of your videos on your channel. I will certainly take a look! Thanks again!
Would this work on whole oats with the husks on?
Oaks cannot be dehulled with pinch rollers.
why not metal lining the inside to put more shock to the grain ?

the grains that work all have hard/brittle husks, and using pinch rollers the grain must withstand the squeezing action between the two rollers.
