AEW has been on TV for nearly a year now so that excuse doesn’t work anymore. Tony Khan has all this money to throw around and his product has not improved at all. AEW is literally just WWE with a lower budget that cannot afford good looking stars so they just hire a bunch of shitty indy wrestlers. Two sides of the same shitty coin.

If WWE were to ever go under, the business could with it and it could be a fucking disaster for American wrestling... It wouldn’t be good for anyone for WWE to not do good.
Moxley describing the Thunderdome as a Farenheit 451 type mindless dystopia is the best description of the WWE product till date. Our champion is a wordsmith and an intellectual 😂.

Moxley's speaking some actual knowledge here. More people should know what 1984 is. Especially wrestling fans. Wrestling can give us a perspective on the world other people don't have. Meltzer said something like this a while ago.
Fahrenheit 451 , was made into a movie in 1966 , and then remade in 2018. I recommend the original 1966 release. It's stays true to Bradbury's story with a touch of dark humor. I met Ray Bradbury in 1997 and it was a grand experience. Had a great sense of humor .
I have not read Fahrenheit, but have other Bradbury books & knew the basic premise, but didn’t realize the Thunderdome was a parallel to what was in that book. Crazy.
I saw a clip of Thunderdome during Smackdown and my immediate initial impression was that it was super creepy. I'm having trouble putting my finger on it, but there's something intrusive and maybe voyeuristic about it. The blank, judging stares and lack of any discernible feedback only compounds the issue. Is it just me but the Thunderdome wasn’t anything special. I never watch WWE anymore but I wanted to see how it would look on tv and honestly the best thing was Sheamus and Big E had a fun match until yet another roll up victory. The best part was Jeff winning the title. That was fun. But other than that. Same old same old. Thunderdome for me wasn’t anything special just seeing some lights with pictures on them. There was no crowd noise really, and the pictures were sometimes on lag. But it didn’t matter. I was mostly looking forward to hearing a crowd again. I've checked out the ThunderDome on TH-cam and it...it doesn't look good. It looks _weird._ Just a bunch of blank faces staring at the screen barely reacting to anything with a bunch of faint piped-in noise. It's actually a step down from having wrestlers fill in for the crowd.
Jon makes a good point. What I mainly don’t like about the ThunderDome is the virtual fans. Mox is smarter than the interviewer.
It really reminds me of Demolition Man.
That's what I thought ..it looks like a dystopia... Moxley should read The Machine Stops.
Yeah....Thunderdome with screens is very weird, unwholesome and makes it difficult to watch the product!!!!!
Seen the movie, really wanna read the book, I popped when Jon mentioned it ❤️🤟🏻
That book is one of my favorites and indeed it predicted so much of the cancel culture
Wowwwwww MOXLEY!!!!!
I didn't like Moxley when he was in wwe. Just didn't like his in ring work or character work but for some reason I have become a fan when he showed up in AEW and NJPW. Not sure what it is but his work feels more like what the Ambrose character should have been.
