My 5 month old only takes 30.min naps and is still waking up every 2 hrs overnight so she has quite a few of these hard days. I appreciate you sharing this bc I watched someone's nighttime routine with their baby yesterday and I had to turn it off. It was so perfect that I started questioning if I was doing things wrong and making it hard for my baby. I hate that you had a hard day but it helped me to feel understood so thanks
This is so normal!!! Your baby's sleep cycles aren't linked yet! But I bet you in the 6th, 7th month, those naps will get longer. Do a dark room, and don't lay your baby down when they are asleep!! Also, you can stop the night feeds if you're comfortable with that. After 4 months, your baby doesn't need a night feed. Instead, try to get those calories in during the day, and idk if you started purees, but that help fill them up too. Maybe try breakfast and / or dinner to start out. If your baby still wakes up at night, give them an oz or 2 of water, and I promise they will stop waking up to drink water. And of course, talk to your Dr. Every baby is different. Every parent is different. Please don't compare. You know your baby better than anyone. And start baby sign language! It will come in handy at month 11! Okay, I'm done ❤🎉😅😊

Now she sleeps from about 7:30, 8pm-6:30am but this little one barely naps during the day. I'm lucky if she gets one daytime nap, and it's usually pretty short so it's literally non stop all day with her and she's so energetic 😭 so I know exactly what you are going through! You're doing amazing job, one day we will blink and our kids will be grown! Crazy how it goes so fast but slow during toddler hood lol. You got this you seem like an amazing mom!

I actually talked to our paediatrician about laundry stuff because I was so confused how people wash there babies clothes in one and theres in another when the babies gonna be on you and your clothes etc. and she said unless your going to completely change laundry products don't worry about it unless they're allergic to the one you currently use. and that made so much sense. So we finished the one we had and completely made the switch over and I do not regret it.
Don't ever feel bad for wanting some alone time. It's great and we get to be better moms for it. Take some time 2, 5, 10, even 1h or more if necessary. I'm in my 3rd pregnancy and 36 weeks and I just take mini "time off" during the day to regroupe and recoperate ;D

As far as Zekey not napping, it’s probably a regression which is temporary! My 16m also skipped his nap today as well and we are WHINING through every bite of dinner lol

My son was like this towards the end of my second pregnancy. My mom says it was because he was feeling the baby coming closer. He got better after. Honestly im not sure its different for everyone

Little ones know! My toddler was same way with not napping or with bedtime before we had our little man! Especially getting extra attached! Day I went into L&D toddler had to be touching me at all times and would freak out if I went into bathroom.

It kinda sounds like he’s overtired :( maybe try hanging at home one morning and putting him down early for a nap! And if he doesn’t nap, maybe try early bedtime at 7?? Every baby is so different but worth a shot!

It’s very inauthentic and you are so much more than that. Also, I don’t think that would be healthy for your family (my opinion). I hope your channel keeps growing but not for the wrong reasons. I truly truly distrust family channels. I think you should keep showing your original, true self. And keep helping us struggling to be organized and mentally stable! XO

You’re NOT doing everything wrong. We do have super good nights but we also have super difficult nights haha. It’s always different 🩷
