    I don't know how to thank you enough for this. My wife and I will be visiting Scandinavia for the first time in June 2020. But at the end of the tour in Oslo, we will fly to the Lofoten Islands for the main purpose of visiting Reine. I've had that iconic photo of Reine on my wall for 30 years. I only recently discovered that it was Reine. It was taken during one of those calm days so the reflections off the water are there. I'll be bringing my new camera, a Sony a6000, that I used for the first time during a trip to the Balkans a few months ago. I noticed that you use it too. And thank you for pointing out the best photography locations.

    Photography for me is all about the light. Light is what allows me to create a mood, whether that mood is lyrical, playful, or mysterious. It is all about seeing the light and incorporating it into your composition.

The overall trip will be 8 or 9 days so as to have at least 5 days on the spot. Your videos continue to be inspiring and your e-book is a clear, concise and practical course on Composition. One again, many heartfelt thanks from a 70 year-old fledgling landscape photographer.

The colours of the buildings combined with the surrounding colour and light was beautifully captured by you. One question is whether you run photography workshops as you have such a natural ability to put over your content to your viewers

    Hi Mads, TPE is a great program (I had been using their desktop free app) but I recently bought photo pills and it is more rich in features compared to TPE. They have versions for both android and iOS and it is worth the price. They also have articles and videos to help people learn how to use the app and you can save the info of whatever you are planning to shoot in the planner. in this way you can have the information with you in the form of a photographic journal.

    • @MadsPeterIversen

    Hi Mads, still a great video, I am revisiting your Norway videos and Lofoten in particular because I am planning to visit Norway this summer. My widest lens is 24mm and I am struggling to complete with a widest one, I have the choice between a 16mm (16-50) and 14mm (14-28) but with complexe filter system (no thread for a filter system), have you an advice for me? the 16 is more versatile so I have more chance to use it on a regular basis but....
    By the way I followed your masterclass last summer, that was great ;-)

    • @MadsPeterIversen
      @MadsPeterIversen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      16mm ought to be enough for Lofoten. But if you already have a complex filter system the more with you have between your lenses I'd argue the better :)

    Hi Mads, So I have a question you can hopefully answer. I already have the TPE. Is the TPE 3D different? If so, is it a separate app, and is it worth getting? I saw that it is an additional 11.99, which is no big deal price wise, but wanted to make sure it was worth the extra cost. thx

      I would advise you to check photo pills. There are versions for both android and iOS. It has way more features than TPE and in my opinion it is really worth its price. They also have articles and videos to help you learn the features of the app.

      Candice Watson yes it's a seperate app. And it's extremely worth it. If I used iOS I wouldn't hassitate to get it :)

    Hello, just a heads up, I don't think that the Milky Way position in Google Earth is accurate. I compared it to Stellarium and it is way off.

      Aaron Jenkin that should be a first. But good to know! :)

      I googled it and there were lots of others saying that the MW position is wrong, I wonder if perhaps I have some setting that is incorrect. Have you found your MW location is accurate?

    Thoroughly enjoyable Mads! I always love what you put together, but especially enjoy the honesty with the difficulty and challenge of what it really takes to get these shots. You're clearly extremely talented but it's your sacrifice and effort that puts you in position to use that talent. Thanks again!
