@@llekseich it's cgi . usually computer animation software have stock textures they can slap on to any 3d model with necessary fixings and then put it in the green screen then editing , lighting , it goes through various stages to make it blend in with the actors

When there is good CGI, there will still be criticism and complaints from the audience. When there is incredible CGI, no one would even notice it because it would be indistinguishable from reality. Unless those incredible scenes that are actually made up from CGI is revealed later on.

@@koolbeans9139 so depends on what you do. It would be easier for me to tell you the software companies rather than the particular products since they change quite often. Autodesk is a big one. Allegorithmic is rising quite steady along with Quixel. SideFX with houdini is used for most VFX. Obviously Adobe products for most 2D needs. There are tons of lesser used ones such as Cinema4D or MODO. As for Rendering and their Engines almost every studio has their own because that is what gives it the "Marvel" look. Shader artists are almost exclusively using HLSL if you're interested in that. There are so many to go into, i apologize that i couldn't get into more detail
The scenes for black panther where sent of to the VFX artists late, so they didn't have enough time to render it. They had to use fast render settings so they could have it in time but that meant it looked worse. The same people that did Avengers: Infinity War did Black Panther as far as I remember.

MCAN - Piano Henry Cavill was filming MI Fallout and director Christopher McQuarrie insisted that he can't shave the mustache his character sports in the movie. So for Justice League, while all the fuss was happening with Whedon entering and them doing reshoots, instead of giving Henry/Superman a beard, they removed his upper lip somehow while trying to remove the mustache, it was a bit disturbing in the movie. Of course, everyone noticed it and everyone laughed at them.
100% CGI Humans with realistic animations are incredibly hard to pull off even for a team of highly skilled and seasoned CG Artists. Big VFX studios still need the help of actors to cooperate with them for cutting edge 3D scanning.

As long as we can blur the fuck out, its a good shot. Makes very little sense to create whatever shots and blur it beyond recognition. But I guess thats what directors think kiddies HAVE TO LOVE.

I guess these guys were too busy making Avengers, that they couldn't help to make the special effects on Black Panther better.

No, the movie had 3000 shots in which 2900 required CGI which was declared by marvel. Hence 96% is CGI while 4% is real
