I was born in Manchester on the west side and went to Manchester West. Love this video. A lot of my Manch friends had french last names and I learned french in grade school.
This video KILLS me STOP TAKING THE BRITISH NAMES AMERICAN PEOPLE I live in Manchester and I hate the Manchester in America (not to hate the video, it’s lovely and well prepared and beautiful) BUT STOP TAKING THE NAMES OF OUR COUNTRY. New Hampshire’s fine but NEW ENGLAND is too far. I don’t care if British people named them. The better Manchester was home to famous cotton mills in the Victorian times and was the birthplace of emmeline Pankhurst who went on to gain the rights for women. Have some respect for that and stop fussing about your petty little Manchester.
Just stop taking. The British named these places. Not all, but some. You’re just getting triggered for no reason. You could have a name that originated from another country and you don’t see them bitching about it.
I'm a born and bred Mancunian and I really can't understand what you're getting so wound up about. A city in the U.S. has the same name, so what, they're not claiming to be superior in any way or take credit for anything Manchester U.K has achieved. Calm down.
